kjv@Amos:4:3 @ And ye shall go out at the breaches, every cow at that which is before her; and ye shall cast them into the palace, saith the LORD.

kjv@Amos:4:4 @ Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:

kjv@Amos:4:5 @ And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

kjv@Amos:4:6 @ And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

kjv@Amos:4:7 @ And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

kjv@Amos:4:8 @ So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

kjv@Amos:4:9 @ I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

kjv@Amos:4:10 @ I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

kjv@Amos:4:11 @ I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

kjv@Amos:4:12 @ Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

kjv@Amos:4:13 @ For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.

kjv@Amos:5:1 @ Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.

kjv@Amos:5:2 @ The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.

kjv@Amos:5:3 @ For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.

kjv@Amos:5:4 @ For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:

kjv@Amos:5:5 @ But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.

kjv@Amos:5:6 @ Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.

kjv@Amos:5:7 @ Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,

kjv@Amos:5:8 @ Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:

kjv@Amos:5:9 @ That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.

kjv@Amos:5:10 @ They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.

kjv@Amos:5:11 @ Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.

kjv@Amos:5:12 @ For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.

kjv@Amos:5:13 @ Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.

kjv@Amos:5:14 @ Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.

kjv@Amos:5:15 @ Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

kjv@Amos:5:16 @ Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.

kjv@Amos:5:17 @ And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.

kjv@Amos:5:18 @ Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

kjv@Amos:5:19 @ As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

kjv@Amos:5:20 @ Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

kjv@Amos:5:21 @ I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

kjv@Amos:5:22 @ Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.

kjv@Amos:5:23 @ Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

kjv@Amos:5:24 @ But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

kjv@Amos:5:25 @ Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?

kjv@Amos:5:26 @ But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

kjv@Amos:5:27 @ Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts.

kjv@Amos:6:1 @ Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!

kjv@Amos:6:2 @ Pass ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border?

kjv@Amos:6:3 @ Ye that put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near;

kjv@Amos:6:4 @ That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall;

kjv@Amos:6:5 @ That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;

kjv@Amos:6:6 @ That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.

kjv@Amos:6:7 @ Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed.

kjv@Amos:6:8 @ The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein.

kjv@Amos:6:9 @ And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.

kjv@Amos:6:10 @ And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.

kjv@Amos:6:11 @ For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.

kjv@Amos:6:12 @ Shall horses run upon the rock? will one plow there with oxen? for ye have turned judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into hemlock:

kjv@Amos:6:13 @ Ye which rejoice in a thing of nought, which say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength?

kjv@Amos:6:14 @ But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river of the wilderness.

kjv@Amos:7:1 @ Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings.

kjv@Amos:7:2 @ And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

kjv@Amos:7:3 @ The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.

kjv@Amos:7:4 @ Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.

kjv@Amos:7:5 @ Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

kjv@Amos:7:6 @ The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.

kjv@Amos:7:7 @ Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.

kjv@Amos:7:8 @ And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

kjv@Amos:7:9 @ And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

kjv@Amos:7:10 @ Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.

kjv@Amos:7:11 @ For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.

kjv@Amos:7:12 @ Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:

kjv@Amos:7:13 @ But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court.

kjv@Amos:7:14 @ Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:

kjv@Amos:7:15 @ And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

kjv@Amos:7:16 @ Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.

kjv@Amos:7:17 @ Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.

kjv@Amos:8:1 @ Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.

kjv@Amos:8:2 @ And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

kjv@Amos:8:3 @ And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.

kjv@Amos:8:4 @ Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,

kjv@Amos:8:5 @ Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?

kjv@Amos:8:6 @ That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?

kjv@Amos:8:7 @ The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.

kjv@Amos:8:8 @ Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

kjv@Amos:8:9 @ And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

kjv@Amos:8:10 @ And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.

kjv@Amos:8:11 @ Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

kjv@Amos:8:12 @ And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

kjv@Amos:8:13 @ In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.

kjv@Amos:8:14 @ They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

kjv@Amos:9:1 @ I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.

kjv@Amos:9:2 @ Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:

kjv@Amos:9:3 @ And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:

kjv@Amos:9:4 @ And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.

kjv@Amos:9:5 @ And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

kjv@Amos:9:6 @ It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.

kjv@Amos:9:7 @ Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?

kjv@Amos:9:8 @ Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.

kjv@Amos:9:9 @ For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.

kjv@Amos:9:10 @ All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.

kjv@Amos:9:11 @ In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

kjv@Amos:9:12 @ That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.

kjv@Amos:9:13 @ Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

kjv@Amos:9:14 @ And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

kjv@Amos:9:15 @ And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.

kjv@Obadiah:1:1 @ The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.

kjv@Obadiah:1:2 @ Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.

kjv@Obadiah:1:4 @ Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

kjv@Obadiah:1:5 @ If thieves came to thee, if robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough? if the grapegatherers came to thee, would they not leave some grapes?

kjv@Obadiah:1:10 @ For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.

kjv@Obadiah:1:12 @ But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.

kjv@Obadiah:1:13 @ Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;

kjv@Obadiah:1:18 @ And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.

kjv@Obadiah:1:19 @ And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.

kjv@Jonah:1:1 @ Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,

kjv@Jonah:1:6 @ So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.

kjv@Jonah:1:9 @ And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.

kjv@Jonah:2:4 @ Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

kjv@Jonah:2:7 @ When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.

kjv@Jonah:3:1 @ And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying,

kjv@Jonah:3:6 @ For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

kjv@Jonah:4:8 @ And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.

kjv@Jonah:4:10 @ Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:

kjv@Micah:1:1 @ The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

kjv@Micah:1:5 @ For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

kjv@Micah:1:6 @ Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.

kjv@Micah:1:11 @ Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.

kjv@Micah:1:12 @ For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.

kjv@Micah:1:15 @ Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.

kjv@Micah:2:3 @ Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.

kjv@Micah:2:4 @ In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.

kjv@Micah:2:6 @ Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.

kjv@Micah:2:7 @ O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?

kjv@Micah:3:7 @ Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.

kjv@Micah:3:8 @ But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

kjv@Micah:3:11 @ The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.

kjv@Micah:4:3 @ And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

kjv@Micah:4:5 @ For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

kjv@Micah:5:2 @ But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

kjv@Micah:5:4 @ And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

kjv@Micah:5:8 @ And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

kjv@Micah:6:4 @ For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

kjv@Micah:6:5 @ O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.

kjv@Micah:6:7 @ Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

kjv@Micah:6:9 @ The LORD'S voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.

kjv@Micah:7:1 @ Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.

kjv@Micah:7:2 @ The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

kjv@Micah:7:10 @ Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

kjv@Micah:7:20 @ Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

kjv@Nahum:1:14 @ And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.

kjv@Nahum:2:3 @ The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.

kjv@Nahum:2:13 @ Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.

kjv@Nahum:3:4 @ Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.

kjv@Nahum:3:5 @ Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.

kjv@Nahum:3:8 @ Art thou better than populous No, that was situate among the rivers, that had the waters round about it, whose rampart was the sea, and her wall was from the sea?

kjv@Nahum:3:17 @ Thy crowned are as the locusts, and thy captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they flee away, and their place is not known where they are.

kjv@Habakkuk:1:5 @ Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.

kjv@Habakkuk:2:1 @ I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

kjv@Habakkuk:2:10 @ Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.

kjv@Habakkuk:2:11 @ For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.

kjv@Habakkuk:2:16 @ Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD'S right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.

kjv@Habakkuk:3:3 @ God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

kjv@Habakkuk:3:14 @ Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.

kjv@Zephaniah:1:1 @ The word of the LORD which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.

kjv@Zephaniah:1:4 @ I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;

kjv@Zephaniah:1:5 @ And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;

kjv@Zephaniah:1:9 @ In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.

kjv@Zephaniah:2:8 @ I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.

kjv@Zephaniah:2:9 @ Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.

kjv@Zephaniah:2:11 @ The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.

kjv@Zephaniah:2:15 @ This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.

kjv@Zephaniah:3:5 @ The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.

kjv@Zephaniah:3:9 @ For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.

kjv@Zephaniah:3:11 @ In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.

kjv@Zephaniah:3:12 @ I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD.

kjv@Zephaniah:3:19 @ Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.

kjv@Zephaniah:3:20 @ At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.

kjv@Haggai:1:1 @ In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,

kjv@Haggai:1:3 @ Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

kjv@Haggai:1:9 @ Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

kjv@Haggai:1:13 @ Then spake Haggai the LORD'S messenger in the LORD'S message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.

kjv@Haggai:1:14 @ And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

kjv@Haggai:2:1 @ In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,

kjv@Haggai:2:3 @ Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

kjv@Haggai:2:4 @ Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

kjv@Haggai:2:5 @ According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.

kjv@Haggai:2:10 @ In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

kjv@Haggai:2:16 @ Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.

kjv@Haggai:2:20 @ And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,

kjv@Zechariah:1:1 @ In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

kjv@Zechariah:1:7 @ Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

kjv@Zechariah:1:8 @ I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.

kjv@Zechariah:1:10 @ And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

kjv@Zechariah:1:11 @ And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.

kjv@Zechariah:1:14 @ So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

kjv@Zechariah:1:15 @ And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.

kjv@Zechariah:1:16 @ Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.

kjv@Zechariah:3:7 @ Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

kjv@Zechariah:4:1 @ And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,

kjv@Zechariah:4:2 @ And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

kjv@Zechariah:4:8 @ Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

kjv@Zechariah:5:4 @ I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

kjv@Zechariah:5:9 @ Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.

kjv@Zechariah:6:1 @ And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

kjv@Zechariah:6:9 @ And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

kjv@Zechariah:6:10 @ Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;

kjv@Zechariah:6:12 @ And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:

kjv@Zechariah:7:1 @ And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

kjv@Zechariah:7:4 @ Then came the word of the LORD of hosts unto me, saying,

kjv@Zechariah:7:8 @ And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying,

kjv@Zechariah:7:12 @ Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

kjv@Zechariah:7:14 @ But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.

kjv@Zechariah:8:1 @ Again the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,

kjv@Zechariah:8:3 @ Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.

kjv@Zechariah:8:10 @ For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.

kjv@Zechariah:8:13 @ And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.

kjv@Zechariah:8:18 @ And the word of the LORD of hosts came unto me, saying,

kjv@Zechariah:9:1 @ The burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, shall be toward the LORD.

kjv@Zechariah:9:2 @ And Hamath also shall border thereby; Tyrus, and Zidon, though it be very wise.

kjv@Zechariah:9:5 @ Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also shall see it, and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.

kjv@Zechariah:9:8 @ And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.

kjv@Zechariah:10:2 @ For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.

kjv@Zechariah:10:4 @ Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.

kjv@Zechariah:10:6 @ And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.

kjv@Zechariah:10:9 @ And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.

kjv@Zechariah:10:12 @ And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.

kjv@Zechariah:11:5 @ Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.

kjv@Zechariah:12:6 @ In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

kjv@Zechariah:12:8 @ In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.

kjv@Zechariah:12:12 @ And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;

kjv@Zechariah:12:13 @ The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;

kjv@Zechariah:12:14 @ All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

kjv@Zechariah:13:2 @ And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
