Like Precious Faith
In Defense of the Reformed Christian Faith
"...to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord"
Welcome
Like Precious Faith U.S. exists for the online proclamation of Jesus Christ, only begotten Son of God Jehovah as exclusive and eternal Lord/Savior/High Priest/Intercessor, of whom several "like precious" branches and denominations of Christians believe. In particular, it aims to defend the long held positions of the Reformed Protestant camp as formally outlined in either the venerated Westminster or 1689 Baptist Confessions. (See: MYFAITH-CONFESSIONS )
In the past the Reformed movement has had a major influence not only in the spread of Christianity world wide, but also western civilization in general. Its Calvinist leanings have always been controversial and because of that it has been attacked and grossly misrepresented. Let's be clear, one does not have to be Reformed nor Calvinist to be a saved born again Christian, that grace is received by relying upon the work of God through Christ at Calvary, thus our insistence upon "like" (as in like unto the Apostles) and "precious" (as in costly to God and innumerably valuable). The attempt of reformers is to keep such faith in accordance to the final authority of Holy Scripture.
There has been a modern revival of sorts towards Reformed congregations. At the same time however, social media has become a massive place for arrows to be shot privily at it from within Christianity and without, from multiple directions. What is required is a capable apologetic response. The limits of such social messaging platforms make the defense of such complex and integrated systematic defenses nearly impossible. Therefore, Like Precious Faith U.S. hopes to become a valuable link on social media in this all important defense.
