gltv@Luke:18:1 @ And He also spoke a parable to them to teach it is always right to pray, and not to faint,
gltv@Luke:18:2 @ saying, A certain judge was in a certain city, not fearing God and not respecting man.
gltv@Luke:18:3 @ And a widow was in that city, and she came to him, saying, Avenge me from my adversary.
gltv@Luke:18:4 @ And for a time he would not. But after these things he said to himself, Even if I do not fear God, and do not respect man,
gltv@Luke:18:5 @ yet because this widow causes me trouble, I will avenge her, that not coming to the end, she subdue me.
gltv@Luke:18:6 @ And the Lord said, Hear what the unrighteous judge says;
gltv@Luke:18:7 @ and will God not at all execute the avenging of His elect, those crying to Him day and night, also having been long-suffering over them?
gltv@Luke:18:8 @ I say to you that He will carry out the avenging of them speedily. But the Son of man coming then, will He find faith on the earth?
gltv@Luke:18:9 @ And He also spoke this parable to some of those relying on themselves, that they are righteous, and despising the rest:
gltv@Luke:18:10 @ Two men went up into the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax collector.
gltv@Luke:18:11 @ The Pharisee was standing, praying these things to himself: God, I thank You that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious, unrighteous, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.
gltv@Luke:18:12 @ I fast twice in the week; I tithe all things, as many as I get.
gltv@Luke:18:13 @ And standing at a distance, the tax collector would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but smote on his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me, the sinner!
gltv@Luke:18:14 @ I say to you, this one went down to his house having been justified, rather than that one. For everyone exalting himself will be humbled. And the one humbling himself will be exalted.
