mkjv@1Corinthians:1:2 @ to the church of God which is in Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called out with all those in every place who call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:3 @ Grace [be] to you, and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:4 @ I thank my God always on your behalf [for] the grace of God given you in Jesus Christ,
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:5 @ that in everything you are enriched by Him, [in] all speech and in all knowledge;
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:6 @ even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you;
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:7 @ so that you come behind in no gift, waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:8 @ He shall also confirm you to [the] end, [that you may be] blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:9 @ God [is] faithful, by whom you were called to [the] fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:10 @ But I exhort you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, [that] you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you; but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:11 @ For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brothers, by those of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:12 @ But I say this, that every one of you says, I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:13 @ Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you, or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:14 @ I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius,
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:15 @ lest any should say that I had baptized in my own name.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:16 @ And I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides these, I do not know if I baptized any other.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:17 @ For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel; not in wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:18 @ For the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those being lost, but to us being saved, [it is] the power of God.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:19 @ For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the understanding of the perceiving ones.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:20 @ Where [is the] wise? Where [is the] scribe? Where [is the] lawyer of this world? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:21 @ For since, in the wisdom of God, the world [by] wisdom did not know God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:22 @ For the Jews ask for a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom;
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:23 @ but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:24 @ But to them, the called-out ones, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is] the power of God and the wisdom of God.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:25 @ Because the foolish thing of God is wiser than men, and the weak thing of God is stronger than men.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:26 @ For you see your calling, brothers, that not many wise men according to the flesh [are called], not many mighty, not many noble.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:27 @ But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:28 @ and God has chosen the base things of the world, and things which are despised, and things which are not, in order to bring to nothing things that are;
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:29 @ so that no flesh should glory in His presence.
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:30 @ But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who of God is made to us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption;
mkjv@1Corinthians:1:31 @ so that, according as it is written, He who glories, let him glory in [the] Lord.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:1 @ And I, brothers, when I came to you, did not come with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:2 @ For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:3 @ And I was with you in weakness and in fear, and in much trembling.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:4 @ And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the] Spirit and of power,
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:5 @ so that your faith should not stand in [the] wisdom of men, but in [the] power of God.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:6 @ But, we speak wisdom among those who are perfect; yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, that come to nothing.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:7 @ But we speak [the] wisdom of God in a mystery, which God has hidden, predetermining it before the world for our glory;
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:8 @ which none of the rulers of this world knew (for if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory).
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:9 @ But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:10 @ But God has revealed [them] to us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:11 @ For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of man within him? So also no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:12 @ But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:13 @ These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the] Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:14 @ But the natural man does not receive the things of [the] Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:15 @ But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged by no one.
mkjv@1Corinthians:2:16 @ For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:1 @ And I, brothers, could not speak to you as to spiritual ones, but as to fleshly, as to babes in Christ.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:2 @ I have fed you with milk and not with solid food, for you were not yet able [to bear it]; nor are you able even now.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:3 @ For you are yet carnal. For in that [there is] among you envyings and strife and divisions, are you not carnal, and [do you not] walk according to men?
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:4 @ For while one says, I am of Paul; and another, I [am] of Apollos; are you not carnal?
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:5 @ Who then is Paul, and who [is] Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, even as the Lord gave to each?
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:6 @ I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:7 @ So then neither is he who plants anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:8 @ So he planting, and he watering, are one, and each one shall receive [his] own reward according to [his] own labor.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:9 @ For of God we are fellow-workers, a field of God, and you are a building of God.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:10 @ According to the grace of God which is given to me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds [on it]. But let every man be careful how he builds [on it].
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:11 @ For any other foundation can no one lay than the one] being laid, who is Jesus Christ.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:12 @ And if anyone builds on this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble,
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:13 @ each one's work shall be revealed. For the Day shall declare [it], because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try each one's work as to what kind it is.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:14 @ If anyone's work which he built remains, he shall receive a reward.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:15 @ If anyone's work shall be burned up, he shall suffer loss. But he shall be saved, yet so as by fire.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:16 @ Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwells in you?
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:17 @ If anyone defiles the temple of God, God shall destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which you are.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:18 @ Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool so that he may be wise.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:19 @ For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God; for it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:20 @ And again, The] Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:21 @ Therefore let no one glory in men. For all things are yours,
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:22 @ whether it is Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or [the] world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours,
mkjv@1Corinthians:3:23 @ and you are Christ's, and Christ [is] God's.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:1 @ So let a man think of us as ministers of Christ and stewards of [the] mysteries of God.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:2 @ And the rest, it is sought among stewards that one be found faithful.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:3 @ But to me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by a man's day; but I do not judge my own self,
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:4 @ for I know nothing by myself. Yet I have not been justified by this, but He who judges me is [the] Lord.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:5 @ Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts. And then shall each one have praise of God.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:6 @ And these things, brothers, I have [in a figure] transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, so that you might learn in us not to think [of men] above that which is written, so that no one of you may [be] puffed up against one another.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:7 @ For who makes you to differ [from another]? And what do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive [it], why do you boast as [if you] had not received it?
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:8 @ Already you are full! Already you are rich! You have reigned [as kings] without us! And oh that indeed you did reign, that we also might reign with you.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:9 @ For I think that God has set forth us last, the apostles, as it were appointed to death; for we have become a spectacle to the world and to angels and to men.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:10 @ We [are] fools for Christ's sake, but you [are] wise in Christ. We [are] weak, but you [are] strong. You [are] honorable, but we [are] despised.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:11 @ Even until this present hour we both hunger and thirst and are naked and are buffeted and have no certain dwelling place.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:12 @ And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it;
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:13 @ being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all [things] until now.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:14 @ I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn [you].
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:15 @ For though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet [you do] not [have] many fathers; for I have begotten you in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:16 @ Therefore I beseech you, be imitators of me.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:17 @ For this cause I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved son and faithful in [the] Lord, who shall remind you [of] my ways which are] in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:18 @ As to my not coming to you now, some are puffed up.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:19 @ But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills. And I will not know the speech of those who are puffed up, but the power.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:20 @ For the kingdom of God [is] not in word, but in power.
mkjv@1Corinthians:4:21 @ What do you desire? Shall I come to you with a rod, or [in] love and the spirit of meekness?
mkjv@1Corinthians:5:1 @ On the whole it is reported [that there is] fornication among you, and such fornication as is not even named among the nations, so as one to have [his] father's wife.
