mkjv@1John:2:12 @ I write to you, little children, because [your] sins are forgiven you for His name's sake.
mkjv@1John:2:13 @ I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him [who is] from [the] beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, little children, because you have known the Father.
mkjv@1John:2:14 @ I write to you, fathers, because you have known Him [who is] from [the] beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
mkjv@1John:2:15 @ Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,
mkjv@1John:2:16 @ because all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
mkjv@1John:2:17 @ And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever.
mkjv@1John:2:18 @ Little children, it is the last time. And just as you have heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have risen up, from which we know that it is the last hour.
mkjv@1John:2:19 @ They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they were of us, they would have continued with us. But [they went out] so that it might be revealed that they were not all of us.
mkjv@1John:2:20 @ But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
mkjv@1John:2:21 @ I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and know that no lie is of the truth.
mkjv@1John:2:22 @ Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He who denies the Father and the Son is antichrist.
mkjv@1John:2:23 @ Everyone who denies the Son neither has the Father. The [one] confessing the Son also has the Father.
mkjv@1John:2:24 @ Therefore what you heard from the beginning, let it abide in you. If what you heard from [the] beginning remains in you, you will abide in both the Son and in the Father.
mkjv@1John:2:25 @ And this is the promise that He has promised us: everlasting life.
mkjv@1John:2:26 @ These [things] I have written to you concerning those leading you astray.
mkjv@1John:2:27 @ But the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true and no lie, and as He has taught you, abide in Him.
mkjv@1John:2:28 @ And now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He is revealed, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him in His coming.
mkjv@1John:2:29 @ If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who does righteousness has been born of Him.
mkjv@1John:3:1 @ Behold what manner of love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

mkjv@1John:3:6 @ Everyone who abides in Him does not sin. Everyone who sins has not seen Him nor known Him.
mkjv@1John:3:7 @ Little children, let no one deceive you. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as that [One] is righteous.
mkjv@1John:3:8 @ He who practices sin is of the Devil, for the Devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was revealed, that He might undo the works of the Devil.
mkjv@1John:3:9 @ Everyone who has been born of God does not commit sin, because His seed remains in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
mkjv@1John:3:10 @ In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the Devil: everyone not practicing righteousness is not of God, also he who does not love his brother.
mkjv@1John:3:11 @ For this is the message that you have heard from [the] beginning, that we should love one another;
mkjv@1John:3:12 @ not as Cain [who] was of the evil one, and killed his brother. And for what did he kill him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's things were righteous.
mkjv@1John:3:13 @ Do not marvel, my brothers, if the world hates you.
mkjv@1John:3:14 @ We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love [his] brother abides in death.
mkjv@1John:3:15 @ Everyone hating his brother is a murderer. And you know that no murderer has everlasting life abiding in him.
mkjv@1John:3:16 @ By this we have known the love [of God], because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down [our] lives for the brothers.
mkjv@1John:3:17 @ But whoever has this world's goods and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God dwell in him?
mkjv@1John:3:18 @ My children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
mkjv@1John:3:19 @ And in this we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him,
mkjv@1John:3:20 @ that if our heart accuses us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things.
mkjv@1John:3:21 @ Beloved, if our heart does not accuse us, we have confidence toward God.
mkjv@1John:3:22 @ And whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
mkjv@1John:3:23 @ And this is His commandment, that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
