Acts:15:36-16:10

rotherham@Acts:15:36 @ And, after certain days, Paul, said unto Barnabas Let us now return, and visit the brethren in every city in which we have declared the word of the Lord, and see how they are.

rotherham@Acts:15:37 @ And, Barnabas, was minded to take with them John also, called Mark;

rotherham@Acts:15:38 @ but Paul deemed it right, as to him who had withdrawn from them, back from Pamphylia, and had not gone with them unto the work, not to be taking with them, this, man.

rotherham@Acts:15:39 @ And there arose an angry feeling, so that they separated one from the other: and, Barnabas, taking Mark, sailed away unto Cyprus,

rotherham@Acts:15:40 @ whereas, Paul, choosing Silas, went forth, committed unto the favour of the Lord by the brethren,

rotherham@Acts:15:41 @ and proceeded to pass through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the assemblies.

rotherham@Acts:16:1 @ And he came even unto Derbe, and unto Lystra; and lo! a certain disciple, was there, by name Timothy, son of a believing Jewish woman, but whose father was a Greek,

rotherham@Acts:16:2 @ who was well-attested by the brethren in Lystra, and Iconium.

rotherham@Acts:16:3 @ The same, would Paul have go forth with him, and took and circumcised him, on account of the Jews who were in those places; for they one and all knew that, his father, was, a Greek.

rotherham@Acts:16:4 @ And, as they passed through the cities, they were delivering unto them, for observance, the decrees which had been decided upon by the Apostles and Elders who were in Jerusalem.

rotherham@Acts:16:5 @ The assemblies, therefore, were being confirmed in the faith, and increasing in number, every day.

rotherham@Acts:16:6 @ And they passed through the Phrygian and Galatian country, being forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia;

rotherham@Acts:16:7 @ but, coming along Mysia, they were attempting to journey into Bithynia, and, the Spirit of Jesus, suffered them not;

rotherham@Acts:16:8 @ but, passing by Mysia, they came down unto Troas.

rotherham@Acts:16:9 @ And, a vision, by night, unto Paul appeared: A man of Macedonia, there was, standing and beseeching him, and saying Come over into Macedonia, and bring us succour!

rotherham@Acts:16:10 @ Now, when, the vision, he had seen, straightway, we sought to go forth unto Macedonia, concluding that God, had summoned us to tell the glad tidings unto them.
