Acts:6:8-15
lont@Acts:6:8 @ And Stephen, full of grace and power, wrought many miracles, and great signs among the people.
lont@Acts:6:9 @ Then there arose some of the synagogue, which is called that of the Libertines, and of the Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and Asia, disputing with Stephen.
lont@Acts:6:10 @ And they were not able to resist the wisdom and spirit with which he spoke.
lont@Acts:6:11 @ Then they suborned men to say, We heard him speak reproachful words against Moses, and against God.
lont@Acts:6:12 @ And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and setting upon him, they dragged him away with them, and brought him to the Sanhedrim.
lont@Acts:6:13 @ And they set up false witnesses, who said, This man is incessantly speaking against this holy place, and the law:
lont@Acts:6:14 @ for we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change its customs, which Moses delivered to us.
lont@Acts:6:15 @ And all that sat in the Sanhedrim, fixing their eyes upon him, saw his countenance like the countenance of an angel.
