Amos:1:3-2:5

akjv@Amos:1:3 @ Thus said the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

akjv@Amos:1:4 @ But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad.

akjv@Amos:1:5 @ I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holds the scepter from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity to Kir, said the LORD.

akjv@Amos:1:8 @ And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holds the scepter from Ashkelon, and I will turn my hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, said the Lord GOD.

akjv@Amos:2:4 @ Thus said the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:

akjv@Amos:2:5 @ But I will send a fire on Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
