Deuteronomy:15:12-18




geneva@Deuteronomy:15:12 @ If thy brother an Ebrewe sell himselfe to thee, or an Ebrewesse, and serue thee sixe yeere, euen in the seuenth yeere thou shalt let him goe free from thee:

geneva@Deuteronomy:15:14 @ Thou shalt (note:)In token that you acknowledge the benefit which God has given you by his labours.(:note) furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: [of that] wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.

geneva@Deuteronomy:15:15 @ And remember that thou wast a seruant in the land of Egypt, & the Lord thy God deliuered thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.

geneva@Deuteronomy:15:16 @ And if he say vnto thee, I will not go away from thee, because he loueth thee & thine house, and because he is well with thee,

geneva@Deuteronomy:15:17 @ Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust [it] through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant (note:)To the year of Jubile, (Lev_25:40).(:note) for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.

geneva@Deuteronomy:15:18 @ It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double (note:)For the hired servant served but three years, and he six.(:note) hired servant [to thee], in serving thee six years: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest.
