Esther:2:19-23

And when the virgins were gathered together the (

That is ,
at the marriage of Esther ,
which was the second marriage for the king .(:

second time ,
then Mordecai sat in the king '
s gate .

Ester had not yet shewed her kindred nor her people ,
as Mordecai had charged her :
for Ester did after the worde of Mordecai ,
as when she was nourished with him .

In those days ,
while Mordecai sat in the king '
s gate ,
two of the king '
s chamberlains ,
Bigthan and Teresh ,
of those which kept the door ,
were wroth ,
and sought to lay (

Meaning ,

hand on the king Ahasuerus .

And the thing was knowen to Mordecai ,
and he tolde it vnto Queene Ester ,
and Ester certified the King thereof in Mordecais name :

And when inquisition was made of the matter ,
it was found out ;
therefore they were both hanged on a tree :
