rotherham@Genesis:6:1 @ And it came to pass when men had begun to multiply on the face of the ground and daughters had been born to them,
rotherham@Genesis:6:2 @ that the sons of God saw the daughters of men! that they were, fair, so they took to themselves wives of whomsoever they chose,
rotherham@Genesis:6:3 @ And Yahweh said My spirit shall not rule in man to times ageabiding, for that, he also, is flesh, Yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.
rotherham@Genesis:6:4 @ The giants, were in the each in these days, and also, after that, when the sons of God began to go in unto the daughters of men, and sons were born to them, the same, were the heroes that were from age-past times the men of renown.
rotherham@Genesis:6:5 @ Then Yahweh saw that great, was the wickedness of man in the earth, and that, every purpose of the devices of his heart, was only wicked all the day;
rotherham@Genesis:6:6 @ and it grieved Yahweh, that he had made man in the earth, and he took sorrow unto his heart.
rotherham@Genesis:6:7 @ And Yahweh said I must wipe off man whom I created from off the face of the ground, from man unto beast unto creeping thing, and unto the bird of the heavens, for I am grieved that I made them.
rotherham@Genesis:6:8 @ But, Noah, had found favour in the eyes, of Yahweh.
rotherham@Genesis:6:9 @ These, are the generations of Noah, Noah, was, a righteous man blameless, in his generations, with God, did Noah walk.
rotherham@Genesis:6:10 @ And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth.
rotherham@Genesis:6:11 @ And the earth corrupted itself before God, and the earth was filled with violence,
rotherham@Genesis:6:12 @ And God beheld the earth, and lo! it had corrupted itself, surely all flesh had corrupted its way, on the earth.
rotherham@Genesis:6:13 @ So God said unto Noah: the end of all flesh, hath come in before me, for, filled, is the earth with violence, because of them, behold me, then, destroying them with the earth.
rotherham@Genesis:6:14 @ Make for thee an ark of timbers of gopher, Grooms, shalt thou make with the ark, and-thou shalt cover it within and without with pitch.
rotherham@Genesis:6:15 @ And, this, is how thou shalt make it, three hundred cubits, the length of the ark, fifty cubits, the breadth thereof, and thirty cubits the height thereof.
rotherham@Genesis:6:16 @ A place for light, shalt thou make to the ark and to a cubit, shalt thou finish it upwards, and the opening of the arkin the side thereof, shalt thou put, with lower, second and third stories, shalt thou make it.
rotherham@Genesis:6:17 @ And, I, behold me! bringing in the floodeven waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh wherein is the spirit of life, from under the heavens, everything that is in the earth, shall cease to breathe:
rotherham@Genesis:6:18 @ therefore will I establish my covenant with thee, and thou shalt enter into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons wives, with thee.
rotherham@Genesis:6:19 @ Moreover of all the living creatures of all fleshtwo of each, shalt thou bring into the ark to keep alive with thee, male and female, shall they be.
rotherham@Genesis:6:20 @ Of the bird after its kind and of the beast after its kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of each, shall come in unto thee. for keeping alive.
rotherham@Genesis:6:21 @ But thou, take to thee of all food that is eaten, and gather it unto thee, and it shall be for thee and for them for food.
rotherham@Genesis:6:22 @ And Noah did
rotherham@Genesis:7:1 @ And Yahweh said to Noah, Enter thou and all thy house, into the ark, for, thee, have I seen righteous before me, in this generation.
rotherham@Genesis:7:2 @ Of all the clean beasts, shalt thou take to thee by sevens, a male and his female, and, of the beasts that are not clean,, shall be two a male and his female.
rotherham@Genesis:7:3 @ Also of the bird of the heavens, by sevens, male and female, to keep alive a seed on the face of all the earth.
rotherham@Genesis:7:4 @ For in seven days more, I, am sending rain on the earth, forty days and forty nights, so will I wipe out all the living things which I have made, from off the face of the ground.
rotherham@Genesis:7:5 @ And Noah did, according to all that Yahweh commanded him.
rotherham@Genesis:7:6 @ Now, Noah, was six hundred years old, when, the flood, came, even waters on the earth.
rotherham@Genesis:7:7 @ So Noah entered, and his sons and his wife and his sons wives with him into the ark, from before the waters of the flood,
rotherham@Genesis:7:8 @ Of the beasts that were clean, and of the beasts that were not clean, and of the birds, and everything that creepeth on the ground,
rotherham@Genesis:7:9 @ two and two, went they in unto Noah, into the ark male and female,, as God commanded Noah.
rotherham@Genesis:7:10 @ And it came to pass, in the seven days, that the waters of the flood, came on the earth.
rotherham@Genesis:7:11 @ In the six hundredth year, the year of the life of Noah. in the second month on the seventeenth day of the month on this day, were burst open all the fountains of the great roaring deep, and the windows of the heavens, were set open.
rotherham@Genesis:7:12 @ (And it came to pass that the heavy rain was on the earth, forty days and forty nights.)
rotherham@Genesis:7:13 @ On this selfsame day, entered Noah, and Shem and Ham and Japheth. Noahs sons, and Noahs wife, and his sons three wives with them into the ark:
rotherham@Genesis:7:14 @ they, and all the wild-beasts after their kind and all the tame-beasts after their kind, and all the creeping things that creep on the earth after their kind, and all the birds after their kind, every bird of every wing.
rotherham@Genesis:7:15 @ So they entered in unto Noah, into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein was the spirit of life.
rotherham@Genesis:7:16 @ And, they that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered, as God commanded him, and Yahweh shut him in round about.
rotherham@Genesis:7:17 @ And it came to pass, that the flood was forty days on the earth, and the waters increased and bare up the ark, and it was lifted high above the earth,
rotherham@Genesis:7:18 @ And the waters prevailed and increased greatly, on the earth, and the ark went its way on the face of the waters.
rotherham@Genesis:7:19 @ Yea the waters, prevailed very greatly, on the earth, so that all the high mountains became covered, that were under all the heavens:
rotherham@Genesis:7:20 @ fifteen cubits upwards, prevailed the waters, so that the mountains became covered.
rotherham@Genesis:7:21 @ And all flesh ceased to breathe that moved on the earth, of birds and of tame-beasts and of wild-beasts, and of all the swarming things that swarm on the earth, land all mankind.
rotherham@Genesis:7:22 @ All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life of all that were on the dry ground died.
rotherham@Genesis:7:23 @ Thus was wiped out all that existed on the face of the ground, from man unto beast unto creeping thing, and unto the bird of the heavens, thus were they wiped out from the earth, so that there was leftonly Noah and they that were with him in the ark.
rotherham@Genesis:7:24 @ Thus prevailed the waters on the earth, a hundred and fifty days.
rotherham@Genesis:8:1 @ And God remembered Noah, and all the wildbeasts and all the tame-beasts that were with him in the ark, and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided;
rotherham@Genesis:8:2 @ and the fountains of the roaring-deep were shut, and the windows of the heavens, and the heavy rain was restrained from the heavens;
rotherham@Genesis:8:3 @ and the waters returned from off the earth they went on returning, and so the waters decreased at the end of a hundred and fifty days.
rotherham@Genesis:8:4 @ And the ark rested, in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat.
rotherham@Genesis:8:5 @ But, the waters went on decreasing, until the tenth month, in the tenth
rotherham@Genesis:8:6 @ And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made;
rotherham@Genesis:8:7 @ and sent forth a raven, and it kept going forth and returning, until the drying up of the waters from off the earth.
rotherham@Genesis:8:8 @ And he sent forth a dove from him, to see whether the waters had abated, from off the face of the ground;
rotherham@Genesis:8:9 @ but the dove found no resting-place for the sole of her foot so she returned unto him into the ark, for, waters, were on the face of all the earth; and he put forth his hand and took her, and brought her in unto him, into the ark.
rotherham@Genesis:8:10 @ Then stayed he yet seven days more, and, again sent forth the dove out of the ark.
rotherham@Genesis:8:11 @ And the dove came in unto him at eventide, and lo! a newly sprouted olive-leaf, in her mouth, so Noah knew that the waters had abated from off the earth.
rotherham@Genesis:8:12 @ And he stayed yet seven days more, and sent forth the dove, but she returned not again unto him any more.
rotherham@Genesis:8:13 @ So it came to pass in the six hundred and first year at the beginning, on the first of the month, that the waters had dried up from off the earth, and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked and lo! the face of the ground was dried.
rotherham@Genesis:8:14 @ And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, was the earth dry.
rotherham@Genesis:8:15 @ So then, God spake to Noah, saying:
rotherham@Genesis:8:16 @ Come forth out of the ark, thou and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy song wives with thee.
rotherham@Genesis:8:17 @ All the living creatures that are with thee of all flesh among birds, and among beasts, and among all the creeping things that creep on the earth, bring forth with thee, and they shall swarm in the earth, and be fruitful and multiply, on the earth.
rotherham@Genesis:8:18 @ So Noah came forth, and his sons and his wife, and his sons wives with him:
rotherham@Genesis:8:19 @ All the living creatures, all that move along, and all birds, and all that moveth along over the earthby their families, came forth out of the ark.
rotherham@Genesis:8:20 @ And Noah builded an altar to Yahweh, and took of all the clean beasts and of all the clean birds, and caused ascending Sacrifices to go up on the altar.
rotherham@Genesis:8:21 @ And Yahweh smelled a satisfying odour, so Yahweh said to himself. I will not, again, curse any more the ground for mans sake, although the device of the heart of man, be wicked from his youth, neither will I again, any more smite every living thing, as I have done.
rotherham@Genesis:8:22 @ During all the days of the earth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat and summer and winter, and day and night, shall not cease.
rotherham@Genesis:9:1 @ So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth;
rotherham@Genesis:9:2 @ and let the fear of you and the dread of you be upon every living creature of the earth, and upon every bird of the heavens, over everything that moveth along on the ground, and over all the fishes of the sea, into your hand, have they been given.
rotherham@Genesis:9:3 @ As for every moving thing that hath life, yours, shall it be, for food, Like the green herb, have I given you all things.
rotherham@Genesis:9:4 @ Yet flesh with the life thereof, the bleed thereof, shall ye not eat;
rotherham@Genesis:9:5 @ And surely your blood, of your lives, will I require, From the hand of every living creature, will I require it, and from the hand of man From the hand of each ones brother, will I require the life of man:
rotherham@Genesis:9:6 @ He that sheddeth mans blood, by man, shall his blood be shed, For, in the image of God, made he man.
rotherham@Genesis:9:7 @ Ye, therefore, be fruitful and multiply, swarm in the earth and multiply therein.
rotherham@Genesis:9:8 @ And God spake unto Noah, and unto his sons with him saying:
rotherham@Genesis:9:9 @ I, therefore, behold me! establishing my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
rotherham@Genesis:9:10 @ and with every living soul that is with you, of birds, of tame-beasts and of all wild-beasts of the earth that are with you, of all coming forth out of the ark, even to all wild-beasts of the earth;
rotherham@Genesis:9:11 @ yea, I will establish my covenant with you, so that all flesh shall not be cut off any more, by reason of the waters of a flood, neither shall there he any more a flood to destroy the earth.
rotherham@Genesis:9:12 @ And God said, This, is the sign of the covenant which I am granting betwixt me and you, and every living soul that is with you, to age-abiding generations:
rotherham@Genesis:9:13 @ My bow, have I set in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant, betwixt me and the earth;
rotherham@Genesis:9:14 @ and it shall be when I draw a veil of cloud over the earth, and the bow in the cloud appeareth,
rotherham@Genesis:9:15 @ then will I remember my covenant which is betwixt me and you, and every living soul among all flesh, that the waters may no more become a flood, to destroy all flesh:
rotherham@Genesis:9:16 @ so the bow shall be in the cloud, and I will behold it, to remember an age-abiding covenant, between God, and every living soul among all flesh that is on the earth.
rotherham@Genesis:9:17 @ And God said unto Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which have established, between me and all flesh that is on the earth.
rotherham@Genesis:9:18 @ And the sons of Noah who came forth out of the ark, were Shem and Ham and Japheth, now, Ham, was the father of Canaan.
rotherham@Genesis:9:19 @ These three, were the sons of Noah, and from these, was all the earth overspread.
rotherham@Genesis:9:20 @ And Noah began to he a husbandman, so he planted a vineyard:
rotherham@Genesis:9:21 @ and dank of the wine and became drunk, and uncovered himself in the midst of his tent.
rotherham@Genesis:9:22 @ And Ham the father of Canaan saw his fathers shame, and told his two brethren outside.
rotherham@Genesis:9:23 @ And Shem and Japheth took a mantle, and put it on the shoulder of them both and went backwards, and covered the shame of their father, but their faces were backwards, and the shame of their father, saw they not.
rotherham@Genesis:9:24 @ And Noah awoke from his wine, and came to know what his youngest sore had done to him.
rotherham@Genesis:9:25 @ And he said, Accursed be Canaan, a servant of servants, shall he be to his brethren!
rotherham@Genesis:9:26 @ And he said, Blessed be Yahweh, God of Shem, And let Cantata he their servant:
rotherham@Genesis:9:27 @ God give extension to Japheth, But make his habitation in the tents of Shem, And let Canaan be their servant.
rotherham@Genesis:9:28 @ And Noah lived after the flood, three hundred and fifty years:
rotherham@Genesis:9:29 @ so, all the days of Noah, werenine hundred and fifty years, and he died.
rotherham@Genesis:10:1 @ Now, these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and there were born to them sons after the flood.
