Wherefore seeing we also are (

compassed about (

with so great a cloud of witnesses ,
let us lay aside (

every weight ,
and the sin which doth so easily beset us ,
and let us run (

with patience the race that is set before (

us ,

Looking (

unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith ;
who for the joy that was set before (

him endured (

the cross ,
despising (
5660 )
the shame ,
and is set down (

at the right hand of the throne of God .

For consider (

him that endured (

such contradiction of sinners against himself ,
lest ye be wearied (

and faint (

in your minds .

Ye have not yet resisted (

unto blood ,
striving (

against sin .

And ye have forgotten (

the exhortation which speaketh (

unto you as unto children ,
My son ,
despise not thou (

the chastening of the Lord ,
nor faint (

when thou art rebuked (

of him :

For whom the Lord loveth (

he chasteneth (

and scourgeth (

every son whom he receiveth (

If ye endure (

chastening ,
God dealeth (

with you as with sons ;
for what son is he (

whom the father chasteneth (

not ?

But if ye be (

without chastisement ,
whereof all are (

partakers ,
then are ye (

bastards ,
and not sons .

Furthermore we have had (

fathers of our flesh which corrected us ,
and we gave them reverence (

shall we not much rather be in subjection (

unto the Father of spirits ,

For they verily for a few days chastened (

us after their own pleasure (

but he for our profit (

that we might be partakers (

Now no chastening for the present (

but grievous :
nevertheless afterward it yieldeth (

Wherefore lift up (

better things than that of Abel .

not him that speaketh (

For if they escaped (

not who refused him (

that spake (

on earth ,
much more shall not we escape ,
if we turn away from him (

that speaketh from heaven :

Whose voice then shook (

the earth :
but now he hath promised (

Yet once more I shake (

not the earth only ,
but also heaven .

And this word ,
Yet once more ,
signifieth (

the removing of those things that are shaken (

as of things that are made (

that those things which cannot be shaken (

may remain (

Wherefore we receiving (

a kingdom which cannot be moved ,
let us have (

grace ,
whereby we may serve (

God acceptably with reverence and godly fear :

For our God is a consuming (

fire .

Let brotherly love continue (

*
Be not forgetful (

to entertain strangers :
for thereby some have entertained (

angels unawares (

Remember (

them that are in bonds ,
as bound with them (

and them which suffer adversity (

yourselves also in the body .

Marriage is honourable in all ,
and the bed undefiled :
but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge (

Let your conversation be without covetousness ;
and be content (

with such things as ye have (

for he hath said (

I will never leave (

thee ,
nor forsake (

thee .

So that we may boldly (

The Lord is my helper ,
and I will not fear (

Remember (

Be not carried about (

with divers and strange doctrines .
For it is a good thing that the heart be established (

with grace ;
not with meats ,
which have not profited (

We have (

an altar ,
whereof they have (

no right to eat (

the tabernacle .

For the bodies of those beasts ,
whose blood is brought (

without the camp .

Wherefore Jesus also ,
that he might sanctify (

suffered (

without the gate .

Let us go forth (

therefore unto him without the camp ,
bearing (

his reproach .

For here have we (

no continuing (

city ,

By him therefore let us offer (

the sacrifice of praise to God continually ,

But to do good and to communicate forget (

for with such sacrifices God is well pleased (

Obey (

over you ,

for they watch (

for your souls ,
as they that must give (

account ,
that they may do (

it with joy ,
and not with grief (

for that is unprofitable for you .

Pray (
