Jeremiah:7:30-8:3

noyes@Jeremiah:7:30 @ For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith Jehovah, They have set their abominations in the house Which is called by my name, to pollute it.

noyes@Jeremiah:7:31 @ They have built the high places of Tophet, Which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, To burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, Which I commanded not, Which even came not into my mind.

noyes@Jeremiah:7:32 @ Therefore behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, That it shall no more be called Tophet, Or the valley of the son of Hinnom, But the Valley of Slaughter; For they shall bury in Tophet till there be no room left.

noyes@Jeremiah:7:33 @ And the dead bodies of this people shall be for meat To the birds of the air and to the beasts of the earth; And none shall scare them away.

noyes@Jeremiah:8:2 @ And they shall be spread before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, Which they have loved, and which they have served, and after which they have walked; Which they have consulted and have worshipped; They shall not be gathered, nor be buried; They shall be as dung upon the face of the ground.

noyes@Jeremiah:8:3 @ And death shall be chosen rather than life By all the residue of them that remain of this evil race, Which remain in all the places whither I have driver them, Saith Jehovah of hosts.
