John:2:1-11

And the third day ,
there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee ,
and the mother of Jesus was there .
*
And both Jesus and his disciples were invited to the marriage .
*
And wine falling short ,
the mother of Jesus saith to him ,
They have not wine .
*
Jesus saith to her ,
Woman ,
what is it to me and thee ?
*
Mine hour is not yet come .
His mother saith to the servants ,
Whatsoever he saith to you ,
do .
*
And there were set there six water-pots of stone ,
after the manner of the purifying of the Jews ,
containing two or three measures apiece .
*
Jesus saith to them ,
Fill the water-pots with water .
And they filled them up to the brim .
*
And he saith to them ,
Draw out now ,
and carry to the governor of the feast .
*
And they carried it .
When the governor of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine (
he knew not whence it was ,
but the servants ,
who had drawn the water knew )
the governor of the feast calleth the bridegroom ,
*
And saith to him ,
Every man doth set out good wine first ,
and when men have well drunk ,
then that which is worse :
but thou hast kept the good wine till now .
*
Jesus wrought this beginning of miracles in Cana of Galilee ,
and manifested his glory ,
and his disciples believed on him .
