tcent Luke:12:22-34
tcent@Luke:12:22 @ Then he said to his disciples, »Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about your body, what you will put on.
tcent@Luke:12:23 @ For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.
tcent@Luke:12:24 @ Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!
tcent@Luke:12:25 @ And which of you by worrying can add a single cubit to his span of life?
tcent@Luke:12:26 @ If you then are not able to do this very little thing, why are you anxious about the rest?
tcent@Luke:12:27 @ Consider the lilies, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
tcent@Luke:12:28 @ But if God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!
tcent@Luke:12:29 @ And do not seek what you will eat or what you will drink, nor have an anxious mind.
tcent@Luke:12:30 @ For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them.
tcent@Luke:12:31 @ But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
tcent@Luke:12:32 @ Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
tcent@Luke:12:33 @ Sell your possessions, and give alms; provide yourselves purses that do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.
tcent@Luke:12:34 @ For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
