rkjnt Luke:14:7-12
rkjnt@Luke:14:7 @ And he told a parable to those who were invited, when he noticed how they chose the places of honour; saying to them,
rkjnt@Luke:14:8 @ When you are invited by someone to a wedding, do not sit down at the place of honour; for one more distinguished than you may have been invited;
rkjnt@Luke:14:9 @ And he who invited both of you will come and say to you, Give this man your place; and with shame you will begin to take the lowest place.
rkjnt@Luke:14:10 @ But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place; that when he who invited you comes, he may say to you, Friend, go up higher: then you shall have honour in the presence of those who are at the table with you.
rkjnt@Luke:14:11 @ For whoever exalts himself shall be abased; and he who humbles himself shall be exalted.
rkjnt@Luke:14:12 @ Then he said to his host, When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers, your kinsmen, or your rich neighbours; lest they invite you in return, and you are repaid.
