Luke:24:1-12

BUT
on
the
first
day
of
the
week
at
early
dawn
they
came
to
the
tomb
,
bringing
the
perfumes
which
they
had
prepared
. *
They
found
the
stone
rolled
away
from
the
tomb
, *
and
on
entering
they
did
not
find
the
body
of
the
Lord
Jesus
. *
While
they
were
at
a
loss
about
this
,
suddenly
two
men
in
glittering
robes
stood
beside
them
. *
They
were
frightened
and
bowed
their
faces
to
the
ground
,
but
the
men
said
to
them
, "
Why
are
you
looking
for
the
living
among
the
dead
? *
He
is
not
here
,
but
has
risen
.
Remember
how
he
told
you
while
he
was
still
in
Galilee
*
that
the
Son
of
Man
must
be
betrayed
into
the
hands
of
sinful
men
and
be
crucified
and
rise
on
the
third
day
." *
Then
they
remembered
his
words
*
and
turned
back
from
the
tomb
and
told
all
this
to
the
eleven
and
all
the
rest
. *
It
was
Mary
Magdalene
and
Joanna
and
Mary
the
mother
of
James
.
The
other
women
with
them
also
told
these
things
to
the
apostles
. *
But
these
reports
seemed
in
their
eyes
like
idle
talk
.
They
did
not
believe
the
women
. *
But
Peter
rose
and
ran
to
the
tomb
and
stooping
down
he
saw
nothing
but
the
linen
cloths
,
and
he
went
away
to
his
place
wondering
at
what
had
happened
.
