wesleynt Luke:24:36-49
wesleynt@Luke:24:36 @ And as they spake thus, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith to them, Peace be unto you.
wesleynt@Luke:24:37 @ But being terrified and affrighted, they thought they saw a spirit.
wesleynt@Luke:24:38 @ And he said to them, Why are ye troubled? and why do reasonings arise in your hearts?
wesleynt@Luke:24:39 @ Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me and see: for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as you see me have.
wesleynt@Luke:24:40 @ And having spoken this, he shewed them his hands and his feet.
wesleynt@Luke:24:41 @ And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said to them, Have ye here any meat?
wesleynt@Luke:24:42 @ And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish and of an honeycomb.
wesleynt@Luke:24:43 @ And he took it, and ate before them.
wesleynt@Luke:24:44 @ And he said to them, These are the words which I spake to you, being yet with you, that all things written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms concerning me, must be fulfilled.
wesleynt@Luke:24:45 @ Then opened he their understanding,
wesleynt@Luke:24:46 @ to understand the scriptures, And said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
wesleynt@Luke:24:47 @ And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
wesleynt@Luke:24:48 @ And ye are witnesses of these things. And behold I send the promise of my Father upon you:
wesleynt@Luke:24:49 @ but tarry in the city Jerusalem, till ye be clothed with power from on high.
