And it came to pass in those days ,
that he went out into the mountain to pray ;
and he continued all night in prayer to God .

And when it was day ,
he called to him his disciples ;
and he chose from them twelve ,
whom he also named apostles ;

Simon ,
whom he named Peter ,
and Andrew his brother ,
and James and John ,
and Philip and Bartholomew ,

and Matthew and Thomas ,
and James the Son of Alphaeus ,
and Simon called the zealot ,

and Judas the brother of James ,
and Judas Iscariot ,
who became a traitor .
