noyes@Luke:9:1 @ And he called together the twelve, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

noyes@Luke:9:2 @ And he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God, and to heal.

noyes@Luke:9:3 @ And he said to them, Take nothing for the journey, neither a staff, nor a bag, nor bread, nor money, nor have two coats apiece.

noyes@Luke:9:5 @ And whoever shall not receive you, shake off, when ye leave that city, even the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.

noyes@Luke:9:7 @ And Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was taking place, and was perplexed; because it was said by some that John had risen from the dead;
