Mark:10:1-12




vw@Mark:10:1 @ Then He arose from there and came into the borders of Judea by the other side of the Jordan. And multitudes came together to Him again, and as He was accustomed, He taught them again.

vw@Mark:10:2 @ And the Pharisees came and asked Him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? testing Him.

vw@Mark:10:3 @ And He answered and said to them, What did Moses command you?

vw@Mark:10:4 @ They said, Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce, and to put her away.

vw@Mark:10:5 @ And Jesus answered and said to them, Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.

vw@Mark:10:6 @ But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.

vw@Mark:10:7 @ For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife,

vw@Mark:10:8 @ and the two shall become one flesh; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.

vw@Mark:10:9 @ Therefore what God has yoked together, let not man separate.

vw@Mark:10:10 @ In the house His disciples also asked Him again about the same matter.

vw@Mark:10:11 @ So He said to them, Whoever shall put away his wife and marry another commits adultery against her.

vw@Mark:10:12 @ And if a woman shall put away her husband and be married to another, she commits adultery.
