wesleynt Mark:15:1-15
wesleynt@Mark:15:1 @ And straightway in the morning the chief priests consulted with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, and having bound Jesus, carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
wesleynt@Mark:15:2 @ And Pilate asked him, Art thou the king of the Jews? And he answering said to him, Thou sayst it.
wesleynt@Mark:15:3 @ And the chief priests accused him of many things; but he answered nothing.
wesleynt@Mark:15:4 @ And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing?
wesleynt@Mark:15:5 @ Behold how many things they witness against thee. But Jesus answered nothing any more, so that Pilate marvelled.
wesleynt@Mark:15:6 @ Now at every feast he released to them one prisoner, whomsoever they would.
wesleynt@Mark:15:7 @ And there was one named Barabbas, who lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.
wesleynt@Mark:15:8 @ And the multitude crying aloud, desired him to do as he had ever done for them.
wesleynt@Mark:15:9 @ And Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release to you the king of the Jews?
wesleynt@Mark:15:10 @ (For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy) But the chief priests stirred up the people to desire,
wesleynt@Mark:15:11 @ that he would rather release Barabbas to them.
wesleynt@Mark:15:12 @ And Pilate answering said to them again, What will ye then that I do to him whom ye call the king of the Jews?
wesleynt@Mark:15:13 @ And they cried out again, Crucify him. Then Pilate said to them, Why, what evil hath he done?
wesleynt@Mark:15:14 @ And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.
wesleynt@Mark:15:15 @ And Pilate, willing to satisfy the people, released Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified.
