noyes@Mark:2:1 @ And after some days he again entered Capernaum; and it was reported that he was in the house.
noyes@Mark:2:2 @ And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room for them, even at the door; and he was speaking the word to them.
noyes@Mark:2:3 @ And they come to him, bringing one that was palsied, borne by four men.
noyes@Mark:2:4 @ And not being able to bring him to him on account of the crowd, they took off the roof where he was; and when they had broken an opening, they let down the bed whereon the palsied man lay.
noyes@Mark:2:5 @ And Jesus seeing their faith, saith to the palsied man, Son, thy sins are forgiven.
noyes@Mark:2:6 @ But there were some of the scribes sitting there and reasoning in their hearts,
noyes@Mark:2:7 @ Why doth this man speak thus? He blasphemeth; who can forgive sins but God only?
noyes@Mark:2:8 @ And Jesus immediately perceiving in his spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, saith to them, Why do ye reason thus in your hearts?
noyes@Mark:2:9 @ Which is easier? to say to the palsied man, Thy sins are forgiven? or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed and go?
noyes@Mark:2:10 @ But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins,he saith to the palsied man,
noyes@Mark:2:11 @ I say to thee, Arise, take up thy bed and go to thy house.
noyes@Mark:2:12 @ And he arose, and immediately took up the bed and went forth before them all; so that they were all amazed, and gave glory to God, saying, We never saw it thus.
noyes@Mark:2:13 @ And he went forth again to the lake; and all the multitude came to him, and he taught them.
noyes@Mark:2:14 @ And passing along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the customhouse; and he saith to him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
noyes@Mark:2:15 @ And it happened that he was reclining at table in his house; and many publicans and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many, and scribes of the Pharisees were also following him.
noyes@Mark:2:16 @ And when they saw that he was eating with the publicans and sinners, they said to his disciples, Doth he eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
noyes@Mark:2:17 @ And Jesus hearing it, saith to them, They who are well do not need a physician, but they who are sick. I came not to call righteous men, but sinners.
noyes@Mark:2:18 @ And the disciples of John and the Pharisees were fasting; and they come and say to him, Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, and thy disciples fast not?
noyes@Mark:2:19 @ And Jesus said to them, Can the companions of the bridegroom fast, while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
noyes@Mark:2:20 @ But the days will come, when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then will they fast in that day.
noyes@Mark:2:21 @ No one seweth a patch of undressed cloth on an old garment; for the new piece teareth away from the old garment, and a worse rent is made.
noyes@Mark:2:22 @ And no one putteth new wine into old skins; for the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and the skins.
noyes@Mark:2:23 @ And it came to pass, that he was going through the grainfields on the sabbath, and his disciples began, as they went along, to pluck the ears of grain.
noyes@Mark:2:24 @ And the Pharisees said to him, See, why are they doing on the sabbath that which is not lawful?
noyes@Mark:2:25 @ And he saith to them, Did ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, himself and they who were with him?
noyes@Mark:2:26 @ how he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the highpriest, and ate the showbread, which it is lawful for none but the priests to eat, and gave also to those who were with him?
noyes@Mark:2:27 @ And he said to them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.
noyes@Mark:2:28 @ So that the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath.
noyes@Mark:3:1 @ And he entered again into a synagogue; and there was a man there having a withered hand;
noyes@Mark:3:2 @ and they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath, that they might accuse him.
noyes@Mark:3:3 @ And he saith to the man having the withered hand, Stand up in the midst.
noyes@Mark:3:4 @ And he saith to them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they were silent.
noyes@Mark:3:5 @ And looking round on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith to the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored.
noyes@Mark:3:6 @ And the Pharisees went forth, and immediately had a consultation with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
noyes@Mark:3:7 @ And Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake; and a great multitude from Galilee, and from Judaea followed;
noyes@Mark:3:8 @ and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond the Jordan, and the people about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard what great things he was doing, came to him.
noyes@Mark:3:9 @ And he gave direction to his disciples, that a boat should be in readiness for him because of the multitude, that they might not throng him.
noyes@Mark:3:10 @ For he had healed many, so that as many as had plagues pressed upon him to touch him.
noyes@Mark:3:11 @ And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried out, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
noyes@Mark:3:12 @ And he strictly charged them that they should not make him known.
noyes@Mark:3:13 @ And he goeth up into the mountain, and calleth to him whom he would; and they came to him.
noyes@Mark:3:14 @ And he appointed twelve to be with him, and whom he might send forth to preach,
noyes@Mark:3:15 @ and to have authority to cast out demons. And he appointed the twelve,
noyes@Mark:3:16 @ and Simon he surnamed Peter;
noyes@Mark:3:17 @ and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, that is, Sons of thunder;
noyes@Mark:3:18 @ and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon of Cana,
noyes@Mark:3:19 @ and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. And he cometh into the house.
noyes@Mark:3:20 @ And again a multitude cometh together, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
noyes@Mark:3:21 @ And his relations hearing of it went out to lay hold of him; for they said, He is beside himself.
noyes@Mark:3:22 @ And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebul; and, He casteth out the demons through the prince of the demons.
noyes@Mark:3:23 @ And calling them to him, he said to them in parables: How can Satan cast out Satan?
noyes@Mark:3:24 @ And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand;
noyes@Mark:3:25 @ and if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand;
noyes@Mark:3:26 @ and if Satan rise up against himself, he is divided, and cannot stand, but hath an end.
noyes@Mark:3:27 @ Moreover, no one can enter into a strong mans house, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.
noyes@Mark:3:28 @ Truly do I say to you, All sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies wherewith they shall blaspheme;
noyes@Mark:3:29 @ but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath no forgiveness forever, but is exposed to everlasting sin.
noyes@Mark:3:30 @ Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
noyes@Mark:3:31 @ And his mother and his brothers came; and, standing without, sent to him, to call him.
noyes@Mark:3:32 @ And a multitude was sitting about him; and they say to him, Lo! thy mother and thy brothers and thy sisters are without, seeking for thee.
noyes@Mark:3:33 @ And he answering saith to them, Who is my mother, and my brothers?
noyes@Mark:3:34 @ And looking round on those who sat about him, he saith, Behold my mother and my brothers.
noyes@Mark:3:35 @ Whoever shall do the will of God, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.
noyes@Mark:4:1 @ And again he began to teach by the shore of the lake; and there was gathered to him a very great multitude, so that he went into a boat, and sat down in it upon the lake; and all the multitude was by the lake on the land.
