*
And when Jesus was passed over (
5660 )
again by ship unto the other side ,
much people gathered (
5681 )
unto him :
and he was (
5713 )
nigh unto the sea .
*
And ,
behold (
5628 ),
there cometh (
5736 )
one of the rulers of the synagogue ,
Jairus by name ;
and when he saw (
5631 )
him ,
he fell (
5719 )
at his feet ,
*
And besought (
5707 )
him greatly ,
saying (
5723 ),
My little daughter lieth at the point of death (
5719 ):
I pray thee ,
come (
5631 )
and lay (
5632 )
thy hands on her ,
that she may be healed (
5686 );
and she shall live (
5695 ).
*
And Jesus went (
5627 )
with him ;
and much people followed (
5707 )
him ,
and thronged (
5707 )
him .
*
And a certain woman ,
which had an issue of blood (
5752 )
twelve years ,
*
And had suffered (
5631 )
many things of many physicians ,
and had spent (
5660 )
all that she had ,
and was nothing bettered (
5685 ),
but rather grew (
5631 )
worse ,
*
When she had heard (
5660 )
of Jesus ,
came (
5631 )
in the press behind ,
and touched (
5662 )
his garment .
*
For she said (
5707 ),
If I may touch (
5672 )
but his clothes ,
I shall be whole (
5701 ).
*
And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up (
5681 );
and she felt (
5627 )
in her body that she was healed (
5769 )
of that plague .
*
And Jesus ,
immediately knowing (
5631 )
in himself that virtue had gone (
5631 )
out of him ,
turned him about (
5651 )
in the press ,
and said (
5707 ),
Who touched (
5662 )
my clothes ?
*
And his disciples said (
5707 )
unto him ,
Thou seest (
5719 )
the multitude thronging (
5723 )
thee ,
and sayest thou (
5719 ),
Who touched (
5662 )
me ?
*
And he looked round about (
5710 )
to see (
5629 )
her that had done (
5660 )
this thing .
*
But the woman fearing (
5679 )
and trembling (
5723 ),
knowing (
5761 )
what was done (
5754 )
in her ,
came (
5627 )
and fell down before (
5627 )
him ,
and told (
5627 )
him all the truth .
*
And he said (
5627 )
unto her ,
Daughter ,
thy faith hath made thee whole (
5758 );
go (
5720 )
in peace ,
and be (
5749 )
whole of thy plague .
