Mark:6:1-6




rkjnt@Mark:6:1 @ And he went out from there, and came into his own country; and his disciples followed him.

rkjnt@Mark:6:2 @ And when the sabbath day came, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many who heard him were astonished, saying, Where did this man get these things? and what wisdom is this which is given to him, that even such miracles are performed by his hands?

rkjnt@Mark:6:3 @ Is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joseph, of Judas, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended by him.

rkjnt@Mark:6:4 @ But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honour, except in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.

rkjnt@Mark:6:5 @ And he could do no miracles there, except to lay his hands upon a few sick people, and heal them.
