Matthew:21:1-11




rwbs@Matthew:21:1 @ And when they drew near to Jerusalem, and had come to Bethphage, to the mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

rwbs@Matthew:21:2 @ Saying to them, Go into the village opposite you, and immediately ye shall find a donkey tied, and a colt with her: loose, and bring to me.

rwbs@Matthew:21:3 @ And if any shall say any thing to you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and immediately he will send them.

rwbs@Matthew:21:4 @ All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

rwbs@Matthew:21:5 @ Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh to thee, meek, and sitting upon a donkey, and a colt the foal of a donkey.

rwbs@Matthew:21:6 @ And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

rwbs@Matthew:21:7 @ And brought the donkey, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set on it.

rwbs@Matthew:21:8 @ And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and spread in the way.

rwbs@Matthew:21:9 @ And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

rwbs@Matthew:21:10 @ And when he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

rwbs@Matthew:21:11 @ And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
