Matthew:24:3-14

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives ,
the disciples came to him privately ,
saying ,
Tell us ,
when will these things be ?
and what will be the sign of thy coming ,
and of the end of the world ?
*
And Jesus answered and said to them ,
Take heed that no man deceive you .
*
For many will come in my name ,
saying ,
I am Christ ;
and will deceive many .
*
And ye will hear of wars ,
and rumors of wars :
see that ye be not troubled :
for all these things must come to pass ,
but the end is not yet .
*
For nation will rise against nation ,
and kingdom against kingdom :
and there will be famines ,
and pestilences ,
and earthquakes in divers places .
*
All these are the beginning of sorrows .
*
Then will they deliver you up to be afflicted ,
and will kill you :
and ye will be hated by all nations for my name '
s sake .
*
And then will many be offended ,
and will betray one another ,
and will hate one another .
*
And many false prophets will rise ,
and will deceive many .
*
And because iniquity will abound ,
the love of many will become cold .
*
But he that shall endure to the end ,
the same shall be saved .
*
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world ,
for a testimony to all nations ;
and then shall the end come .
