Matthew:8:18-27

And seeing great crowds ,
Jesus gave orders to depart to the other side .
*
And a certain scribe came and said to him ,
Master ,
I will follow You wherever You go .
*
And Jesus said to him ,
The foxes have holes ,
and the birds of the air [
have ]
nests ,
but the Son of man has nowhere to lay [
His ]
head .
*
And another of His disciples said to him ,
Lord ,
allow me first to go and bury my father .
*
But Jesus said to him ,
Follow Me ,
and let the dead bury their dead .
*
And He entering into a boat ,
His disciples followed Him .
*
And behold ,
a great tempest arose in the sea ,
so much so that the boat was covered with the waves .
But He was asleep .
*
And His disciples came to [
Him ]
and awakened Him ,
saying ,
Lord ,
save us !
We perish !
*
And He said to them ,
Why are you afraid ,
little-faiths ?
Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea ;
and there was a great calm .
*
But the men marveled ,
saying ,
What kind [
of man ]
is this ,
that even the winds and the sea obey him !
