Philippians:3:1-11

tcent@Philippians:3:1 @ Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you.

tcent@Philippians:3:2 @ Watch out for the dogs, watch out for the evil workers, watch out for those mutilators of the body.

tcent@Philippians:3:3 @ For we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh,

tcent@Philippians:3:4 @ though I myself have reasons for confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he has reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more:

tcent@Philippians:3:5 @ circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee;

tcent@Philippians:3:6 @ as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to righteousness under the law, blameless.

tcent@Philippians:3:7 @ But whatever was gain to me, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ.

tcent@Philippians:3:8 @ More than that, I count everything to be loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ

tcent@Philippians:3:9 @ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christthe righteousness that comes from God and is by faith,

tcent@Philippians:3:10 @ that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death;

tcent@Philippians:3:11 @ in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
