gltv@Psalms:34:1 @ A Psalm of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; and he drove him away, and he went. I will bless Jehovah at all times; His praise shall always be in my mouth.

gltv@Psalms:34:2 @ My soul shall make its boast in Jehovah; the humble shall hear and be glad.

gltv@Psalms:34:3 @ O magnify Jehovah with me; and let us exalt His name together.

gltv@Psalms:34:4 @ I sought Jehovah, and He answered me, and delivered me out of all my fear.

gltv@Psalms:34:5 @ They looked to Him and were filled with light; and their faces were not ashamed.

gltv@Psalms:34:6 @ This poor man cried, and Jehovah heard, and saved him out of all his troubles.

gltv@Psalms:34:7 @ The Angel of Jehovah camps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them.

gltv@Psalms:34:8 @ Taste and see that Jehovah is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him.

gltv@Psalms:34:9 @ Fear Jehovah, His holy ones, for they who fear Him lack nothing.

gltv@Psalms:34:10 @ The young lions have lacked and been hungry; but they who seek Jehovah shall not lack any good thing.

gltv@Psalms:34:11 @ Come, listen to me, my sons, I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.

gltv@Psalms:34:12 @ Who is the man who desires life, who loves days in order to see good?

gltv@Psalms:34:13 @ Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile;

gltv@Psalms:34:14 @ depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

gltv@Psalms:34:15 @ The eyes of Jehovah are on the righteous; and His ears are open to their cry.

gltv@Psalms:34:16 @ The face of Jehovah is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth.

gltv@Psalms:34:17 @ The righteous cry, and Jehovah hears, and saves them out of all their distresses.

gltv@Psalms:34:18 @ Jehovah is near those who are broken-hearted, and saves those who have a contrite spirit.

gltv@Psalms:34:19 @ Many are the evils of the righteous, but Jehovah helps him out of them all,

gltv@Psalms:34:20 @ keeping all his bones; not one of them is broken.

gltv@Psalms:34:21 @ Evil shall slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous shall become guilty.

gltv@Psalms:34:22 @ Jehovah is redeeming the soul of His servants; and none of those who trust in Him shall be guilty.

gltv@Psalms:35:1 @ A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, contend with those who contend with me; fight those who fight against me.

gltv@Psalms:35:2 @ Take hold of a shield and buckler, and arise as my help.

gltv@Psalms:35:3 @ Draw out the spear and close ranks to meet my pursuers; say to my soul, I am your salvation.

gltv@Psalms:35:4 @ Let those who seek my soul be ashamed and disgraced; let them be turned back and brought to confusion, those who plot evil to me.

gltv@Psalms:35:5 @ Let them be as chaff before the wind, and the Angel of Jehovah driving away.

gltv@Psalms:35:6 @ Let their way be dark and slippery, and the Angel of Jehovah their pursuer.

gltv@Psalms:35:7 @ For they have hidden their pit-net for me without cause; without cause they have dug for my soul.

gltv@Psalms:35:8 @ Let destruction come on him; he will not know; and let his net which he concealed catch him; let him fall in it, into destruction.

gltv@Psalms:35:9 @ And my soul shall be joyful in Jehovah; it will rejoice in His salvation.

gltv@Psalms:35:10 @ All my bones shall say: O Jehovah, who is like You, who delivers the poor from those stronger than he; yes, the poor and needy from his plunderer?

gltv@Psalms:35:11 @ Witnesses of violence rise up; they asked me what I did not know;

gltv@Psalms:35:12 @ they rewarded me evil for good, bereaving my soul.

gltv@Psalms:35:13 @ But in their sickness, my clothing was sackcloth; I humbled my soul with fastings; and my prayer returned to my bosom.

gltv@Psalms:35:14 @ I walked as a friend, as to my brother; as one who mourns a mother; I was bowed down mourning.

gltv@Psalms:35:15 @ But they rejoiced in my stumbling, and assembled; the defamers assembled themselves against me, and I knew not; they tore and were not silent,

gltv@Psalms:35:16 @ with the ungodly, mockers for a cake, gnashing their teeth on me.

gltv@Psalms:35:17 @ O Lord, how long will You look on? Draw back my soul from their desolations, my only one from the lions.

gltv@Psalms:35:18 @ I will thank You in the great assembly, and I will praise You among a mighty people.

gltv@Psalms:35:19 @ Let not my lying enemies rejoice over me, do not let those who hate me without cause wink with the eye.

gltv@Psalms:35:20 @ For they do not speak peace; but they devise deceitful things against the quiet ones of the earth.

gltv@Psalms:35:21 @ And they open their mouth wide against me; they say, Aha! Aha! Our eyes have seen.

gltv@Psalms:35:22 @ You have seen, O Jehovah; do not keep silence, O Lord, do not be far from me.

gltv@Psalms:35:23 @ Stir Yourself and awaken to my judgment, to my cause, my God and my Lord.

gltv@Psalms:35:24 @ Judge me, O Jehovah my God, according to Your righteousness; and do not let them rejoice over me.

gltv@Psalms:35:25 @ Let them not say in their hearts, Aha! Our soul! Let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

gltv@Psalms:35:26 @ Let them be ashamed and be confounded together, the ones who rejoice at my evil; let them be clothed with shame and dishonor, the ones who magnify themselves against me.

gltv@Psalms:35:27 @ Let those who delight in my justification shout and rejoice; and they shall say without ceasing: Jehovah be magnified, delighting in the peace of His servant.

gltv@Psalms:35:28 @ And my tongue will speak of Your righteousness and of Your praise all the day.

gltv@Psalms:36:1 @ To the chief musician; of the servant of Jehovah; of David. The oracle utters transgression to the wicked within my heart: There is no fear of God before his eyes.

gltv@Psalms:36:2 @ For he flatters himself in his own eyes in order to find his iniquity, in order to hate it.

gltv@Psalms:36:3 @ The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; he ceases to act wisely, to do good.

gltv@Psalms:36:4 @ He plots evil on his bed; he sets himself on a way that is not good; he does not hate evil.

gltv@Psalms:36:5 @ Your mercy, O Jehovah, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness to the dust clouds.

gltv@Psalms:36:6 @ Your righteousness is like the hills of God; Your judgments are a great deep; O Jehovah, You preserve animal and man.

gltv@Psalms:36:7 @ How precious is Your mercy, O God! And the sons of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.

gltv@Psalms:36:8 @ They shall be satisfied from the abundance of Your house; and You make them drink the torrent of Your pleasures.

gltv@Psalms:36:9 @ For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.

gltv@Psalms:36:10 @ O continue Your mercy to the ones knowing You, and Your righteousness to the upright of heart.

gltv@Psalms:36:11 @ Do not let the foot of pride come to me; and let not the hand of the wicked move me.

gltv@Psalms:36:12 @ There the workers of evil have fallen; they are cast down and are not able to rise.

gltv@Psalms:37:1 @ A Psalm of David. Do not inflame yourself with evildoers; and do not be envious against workers of perversity;

gltv@Psalms:37:2 @ for they soon wither like grass and fade like the green herb.

gltv@Psalms:37:3 @ Trust in Jehovah and do good; live in the land and feed on faithfulness.

gltv@Psalms:37:4 @ And delight yourself in Jehovah, that He may give you your heart's desire.

gltv@Psalms:37:5 @ Roll your way on Jehovah, and trust in Him; and He will work.

gltv@Psalms:37:6 @ And He will bring forth your righteousness like the light; and your judgment like the noon day.

gltv@Psalms:37:7 @ Rest in Jehovah and wait patiently for Him; inflame not yourself with him who prospers in his way, with the man practicing evil wiles.

gltv@Psalms:37:8 @ Abstain from anger and cease from fury; also do not inflame yourself to do evil.

gltv@Psalms:37:9 @ For evildoers shall be cut off; and the ones waiting on Jehovah, they shall inherit the earth.

gltv@Psalms:37:10 @ It is but a little, and the wicked shall not be; yes, you shall search his place, and he is not.

gltv@Psalms:37:11 @ But the meek shall inherit the earth, and they shall delight themselves in abundant peace.

gltv@Psalms:37:12 @ The wicked plots against the righteous, and gnashes on him with his teeth;

gltv@Psalms:37:13 @ the Lord laughs at him, for He sees that his day is coming.

gltv@Psalms:37:14 @ The wicked have drawn out the sword and they have trodden their bow, to cause the poor and needy to fall; to kill those who walk uprightly.

gltv@Psalms:37:15 @ Their sword shall enter into their heart, and their bows shall be broken.

gltv@Psalms:37:16 @ A little to the righteous is better than the abundance of many wicked.

gltv@Psalms:37:17 @ For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; but Jehovah upholds the righteous.

gltv@Psalms:37:18 @ Jehovah knows the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be forever.

gltv@Psalms:37:19 @ They shall not be ashamed in an evil time; and they shall be full in days of famine.

gltv@Psalms:37:20 @ But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of Jehovah shall be like the beauty of pastures; they are consumed like smoke; they are consumed.

gltv@Psalms:37:21 @ The wicked borrows and never repays, but the righteous is gracious and giving.

gltv@Psalms:37:22 @ For His blessed ones inherit the earth, and those cursed by Him shall be cut off.

gltv@Psalms:37:23 @ The steps of a man are ordered from Jehovah, and He will delight in his way.

gltv@Psalms:37:24 @ Though he falls, he is not cast down; for Jehovah upholds his hand.

gltv@Psalms:37:25 @ I have been young and am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, or his seed begging bread.

gltv@Psalms:37:26 @ All the day long he is gracious and lends, and his seed is for a blessing.

gltv@Psalms:37:27 @ Depart from evil and do good, and live forevermore.

gltv@Psalms:37:28 @ For Jehovah loves judgment and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever; but the wicked's seed shall be cut off.

gltv@Psalms:37:29 @ The righteous shall inherit the earth and live on it forever.

gltv@Psalms:37:30 @ The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue speaks judgment.

gltv@Psalms:37:31 @ The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slide.

gltv@Psalms:37:32 @ The wicked spies on the righteous and seeks to kill him.

gltv@Psalms:37:33 @ Jehovah does not leave him in his hand, nor allow him to be found guilty in his judgment.

gltv@Psalms:37:34 @ Wait on Jehovah and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the earth; you shall see when the wicked are cut off.

gltv@Psalms:37:35 @ I have seen the wicked ruthless, even spreading himself out like a luxuriant, native tree;

gltv@Psalms:37:36 @ yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not; and I looked for him, but he could not be found.

gltv@Psalms:37:37 @ Watch the perfect and behold the upright one; for the end of that man is peace.

gltv@Psalms:37:38 @ But the transgressors are destroyed together; the end of the wicked is cut off.

gltv@Psalms:37:39 @ But the salvation of the righteous is from Jehovah; He is their strength in the time of distress.

gltv@Psalms:37:40 @ And Jehovah helps them and delivers them; He shall deliver them from the wicked and save them, because they trust in Him.

gltv@Psalms:38:1 @ A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O Jehovah, do not rebuke me in Your wrath, and do not chasten me in Your fury.

gltv@Psalms:38:2 @ For Your arrows sink in me, and Your hand presses heavily on me.

gltv@Psalms:38:3 @ There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your anger; nor peace in my bones because of my sin.

gltv@Psalms:38:4 @ For my iniquities have passed over my head, as a heavy burden too heavy for me.

gltv@Psalms:38:5 @ My wounds have putrefied and rotted, because of my foolishness.

gltv@Psalms:38:6 @ I am bent down, I am bowed down exceedingly; I went mourning all the day long.

gltv@Psalms:38:7 @ For my loins are filled with a burning, and there is no soundness in my flesh.

gltv@Psalms:38:8 @ I am exceedingly benumbed and crushed. I howl from the groanings of my heart.

gltv@Psalms:38:9 @ My Lord, all my desire is before You, and my sighing is not hidden from You.

gltv@Psalms:38:10 @ My heart throbs; my power forsakes me! And the light of my eyes, they also are not with me.

gltv@Psalms:38:11 @ My lovers and my friends stand apart from my stroke, and my neighbors have stood far off.

gltv@Psalms:38:12 @ And those seeking my life lay a snare; yea, those seeking my evil speak ruin, and they utter deceits all the day long.

gltv@Psalms:38:13 @ But like a deaf one I do not hear; and I am like a dumb one who does not open his mouth.

gltv@Psalms:38:14 @ And I am as a man who is not hearing, and who has no rebukes in his mouth.

gltv@Psalms:38:15 @ For I hope in You, O Jehovah; O Lord my God You will answer.

gltv@Psalms:38:16 @ For I said, Lest they rejoice over me in the slipping of my foot; they exalt themselves over me.

gltv@Psalms:38:17 @ For I am ready to fall and my pain is before me always.

gltv@Psalms:38:18 @ For I will confess my perversity; I am anxious from my sin.

gltv@Psalms:38:19 @ And my enemies are living; they are strong; and my haters multiply by falsehood.

gltv@Psalms:38:20 @ And those who repay evil for good, they attack me, because the good follows me.

gltv@Psalms:38:21 @ O Jehovah, do not forsake me! O my God, do not be far from me;

gltv@Psalms:38:22 @ Make haste to help me, O my Lord, my salvation.

gltv@Psalms:39:1 @ To the chief musician, to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. I said, I will keep my ways from sinning with my tongue; I will keep my mouth with a muzzle while the wicked are before me.

gltv@Psalms:39:2 @ I became dumb, keeping still; from good I was silent, and my pain was stirred.

gltv@Psalms:39:3 @ My heart was hot within me; while the fire burned I was meditating; I spoke with my tongue:

gltv@Psalms:39:4 @ O Jehovah, make me to know my end and the limit of my days, what it is. Let me know how lacking I am.

gltv@Psalms:39:5 @ Behold, like a handbreadth You gave my days, even my life was non-existence before You;

gltv@Psalms:39:6 @ surely every man walks about in shadow; surely they are in an uproar in vain; he heaps up and does not know who is gathering them.

gltv@Psalms:39:7 @ And now what do I await, Lord? My hope is in You.

gltv@Psalms:39:8 @ Deliver me from all my transgressions; do not set me forth as the reproach of the fool.

gltv@Psalms:39:9 @ I was dumb; I did not open my mouth, because You had done it.

gltv@Psalms:39:10 @ Remove Your stroke from me; I am consumed by the blow of Your hand.

gltv@Psalms:39:11 @ You correct a man with rebukes over perversity; and as a moth You consume what he desires. Surely every man is vanity. Selah.

gltv@Psalms:39:12 @ Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, and give ear to my cry. Do not be silent at my tears, for I am an alien with You, a pilgrim, as were all my fathers.

gltv@Psalms:39:13 @ Look away from me and I will be cheerful before I go away and be no more.

gltv@Psalms:40:1 @ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. Waiting I have waited on Jehovah; and He bowed to me and heard my cry.

gltv@Psalms:40:2 @ And He drew me up from the pit of tumult, out of the miry clay; He set my feet on a rock; He directed my steps.

gltv@Psalms:40:3 @ And He put a new song of praise to our God in my mouth; many shall see and shall fear and shall trust in Jehovah.

gltv@Psalms:40:4 @ Blessed is the man who sets Jehovah as his trust, and does not turn to the proud, or to those who turn to a lie.

gltv@Psalms:40:5 @ Many things have You done, O Jehovah my God; Your works of wonder and Your purposes toward us; there is none to set in order to You; I will declare and I will speak; they are more than can be counted.

gltv@Psalms:40:6 @ Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; You have opened ears to Me. You have not asked burnt offering and sin offering.

gltv@Psalms:40:7 @ Then I said, Lo, I come, in the roll of the Book it is written of Me;

gltv@Psalms:40:8 @ I delight to do Your will, O My God; and Your law is within My inmost soul.

gltv@Psalms:40:9 @ I have announced righteousness in the great assembly; behold, I will not restrain My lips; O Jehovah You know.

gltv@Psalms:40:10 @ I have not concealed Your righteousness in My heart; I speak Your faithfulness and Your salvation. I have not hidden Your loving-kindness and Your truth for the great assembly.

gltv@Psalms:40:11 @ Do not withhold Your tender mercies from Me, O Jehovah; let Your lovingkindness and Your truth always watch over Me.

gltv@Psalms:40:12 @ For evils have surrounded me until there is no number; my iniquities have taken hold on me and I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails me.

gltv@Psalms:40:13 @ Be pleased to deliver me, O Jehovah; hasten to my help.

gltv@Psalms:40:14 @ Let be ashamed and humbled together those seeking my soul, to destroy it; let those delighting in my evil be driven back and disgraced.

gltv@Psalms:40:15 @ Let them be desolate until it is the reward for their shame; for they are saying to me, Aha! Aha!

gltv@Psalms:40:16 @ Let all who are seeking You be glad in You and always say, May Jehovah be magnified, those loving Your salvation.

gltv@Psalms:40:17 @ But I am poor and needy; the Lord will take thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; O my God, do not delay.

gltv@Psalms:41:1 @ To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Blessed is he who acts wisely toward the poor; Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil.

gltv@Psalms:41:2 @ Jehovah will watch over him and keep him alive; he shall be blessed on the earth, and You will not deliver him to the soul of his enemies.

gltv@Psalms:41:3 @ Jehovah will uphold him on the couch of sickness; You change all his bed in his sickness.

gltv@Psalms:41:4 @ I said, O Jehovah be gracious to me; heal my soul, for I have sinned against You.

gltv@Psalms:41:5 @ My enemies speak evil of me, saying, When will he die and his name perish.

gltv@Psalms:41:6 @ And when he comes to see me he speaks vanity; his heart gathers iniquity to itself; he goes outside and speaks.

gltv@Psalms:41:7 @ All my haters whisper together against me; they plot evil against me,

gltv@Psalms:41:8 @ saying, A thing of ruin is poured out on him; and, He who lies down shall not rise again.

gltv@Psalms:41:9 @ Even a man desiring my welfare, I trusted in him, eating of my bread; this one has lifted up his heel against me.

gltv@Psalms:41:10 @ But You, O Jehovah, be gracious to me and raise me up, and I will repay them.

gltv@Psalms:41:11 @ By this I know that You delight in me, because my enemy does not exult over me.

gltv@Psalms:41:12 @ And I, in my integrity You uphold me, and You set your face before me forever.

gltv@Psalms:41:13 @ Blessed be Jehovah God of Israel, even from everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen!
