mkjv@Psalms:69:1 @ To the Chief Musician. Concerning the Lilies. A Psalm of David. Save me, O God! for the waters have come in on [my] soul.

mkjv@Psalms:69:2 @ I sink in deep mire, where [there is] no standing; I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

mkjv@Psalms:69:3 @ I am weary from my crying; my throat is dried; my eyes fail while I wait for my God.

mkjv@Psalms:69:4 @ They who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; they who would destroy me are mighty, my lying enemies. Then I restored [what] I did not take away.

mkjv@Psalms:69:5 @ O God, You know my foolishness, and my guiltiness [is] not hidden from You.

mkjv@Psalms:69:6 @ Do not let those who wait on You, O LORD God of hosts, be ashamed for my sake; let not the ones who seek You be ashamed for my sake, O God of Israel,

mkjv@Psalms:69:7 @ because I have borne reproach for Your sake, shame has covered my face.

mkjv@Psalms:69:8 @ I have become a stranger to My brothers, and a foreigner to My mother's children.

mkjv@Psalms:69:9 @ For the zeal of Your house has eaten Me up; and the reproaches of those who reproached You have fallen on Me.

mkjv@Psalms:69:10 @ When I humbled my soul with fasting, it turned to my reproach.

mkjv@Psalms:69:11 @ I also made sackcloth my clothing, and I became a proverb to them.

mkjv@Psalms:69:12 @ They who sit in the gate speak against me; and I [was] the song of the drunkards.

mkjv@Psalms:69:13 @ But [as for] me, my prayer [is] to You, O LORD, [in] a pleasing time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy hear me, in the truth of Your salvation.

mkjv@Psalms:69:14 @ Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink; let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.

mkjv@Psalms:69:15 @ Do not let the flood of waters overflow me, nor let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut its mouth on me.

mkjv@Psalms:69:16 @ Hear me, O LORD, for Your loving-kindness [is] good; turn to me according to the multitude of Your tender mercies.

mkjv@Psalms:69:17 @ And hide not Your face from Your servant; for I am in trouble; hear me quickly.

mkjv@Psalms:69:18 @ Draw near my soul, and redeem it; deliver me because of my enemies.

mkjv@Psalms:69:19 @ You have known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor; my enemies [are] all before You.

mkjv@Psalms:69:20 @ Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness; and I looked [for some] to mourn with me, but [there was] none; and for comforters, but I found none.

mkjv@Psalms:69:21 @ They also gave Me gall for my food; and in My thirst they gave Me vinegar to drink.

mkjv@Psalms:69:22 @ Let their table become a snare before them; and to those at ease a trap.

mkjv@Psalms:69:23 @ Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see; and make their loins shake without ceasing.

mkjv@Psalms:69:24 @ Pour out Your wrath on them, and let the glow of Your anger take hold of them.

mkjv@Psalms:69:25 @ Let their dwelling be wasted; let none dwell in their tents.

mkjv@Psalms:69:26 @ For they persecute [him] whom You have stricken, and they talk to the grief of those You pierced.

mkjv@Psalms:69:27 @ Add iniquity to their iniquity, and let them not come into Your righteousness.

mkjv@Psalms:69:28 @ Let them be blotted out of the Book of Life, and not be written with the righteous.

mkjv@Psalms:69:29 @ But I [am] poor and sorrowful; let Your salvation, O God, set me up on high.

mkjv@Psalms:69:30 @ I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.

mkjv@Psalms:69:31 @ [This] also shall please the LORD better than an ox, [or] a bull that has horns and hoofs.

mkjv@Psalms:69:32 @ The humble shall see [and] be glad; and your heart shall live, you who seek God.

mkjv@Psalms:69:33 @ For the LORD hears the needy, and does not despise His prisoners.

mkjv@Psalms:69:34 @ Let the heavens and earth praise Him, the seas, and everything that moves in them.

mkjv@Psalms:69:35 @ For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah; so that they may dwell there, and possess it.

mkjv@Psalms:69:36 @ And the seed of His servants shall inherit it, and they who love His name shall dwell in it.

mkjv@Psalms:70:1 @ To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. [Make haste], O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

mkjv@Psalms:70:2 @ Let them be ashamed and turned pale, those who seek after my soul; let them be turned backward and blush, those who desire my hurt.

mkjv@Psalms:70:3 @ Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame, those who say, Aha, aha!

mkjv@Psalms:70:4 @ Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; and let those who love Your salvation say without ending, Let God be magnified.

mkjv@Psalms:70:5 @ But I [am] poor and needy; make haste to me, O God; You [are] my help and my deliverer; O LORD, wait no longer!

mkjv@Psalms:71:1 @ In You, O LORD, I put my trust; let me never be put to shame.

mkjv@Psalms:71:2 @ Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; bow down Your ear to me, and save me.

mkjv@Psalms:71:3 @ Be a rock of refuge for me, to which I may always go; You have commanded to save me; for You [are] my Rock and my Fortress.

mkjv@Psalms:71:4 @ Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel [man].

mkjv@Psalms:71:5 @ For You [are] my hope, O Lord God, my trust from my youth.

mkjv@Psalms:71:6 @ On You I have rested from the womb; You are He who took me out of my mother's bowels; my praise always [shall be] of You.

mkjv@Psalms:71:7 @ I am like a wonder to many, but You [are] my strong tower.

mkjv@Psalms:71:8 @ Let my mouth be filled [with] Your praise, [with] Your honor all the day.

mkjv@Psalms:71:9 @ Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.

mkjv@Psalms:71:10 @ For my enemies speak against me; and those who watch for my soul plot together,

mkjv@Psalms:71:11 @ saying, God has forsaken him; pursue and take him, for [there is] none to deliver [him].

mkjv@Psalms:71:12 @ O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste for my help.

mkjv@Psalms:71:13 @ Let them be ashamed; let those who are enemies of my soul be consumed; let them be covered [with] reproach and dishonor, those who seek my hurt.

mkjv@Psalms:71:14 @ But I will hope without ceasing, and I will add more in all Your praise.

mkjv@Psalms:71:15 @ My mouth shall show forth Your righteousness [and] Your salvation all the day; for I do not know how many they are.

mkjv@Psalms:71:16 @ I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD; I will speak of Your righteousness, of Yours alone.

mkjv@Psalms:71:17 @ O God, You have taught me from my youth; and before now I have declared Your wonderful works.

mkjv@Psalms:71:18 @ And now when I am old and gray-headed, O God, do not leave me; until I have declared Your strength to [this] generation, and Your power to everyone who is to come.

mkjv@Psalms:71:19 @ And Your righteousness, O God, [is] very high, who have done great things. O God, who [is] like You,

mkjv@Psalms:71:20 @ who has shown me great and evil distresses; You will turn [me]; You will make me live. You will turn me from the depths of the earth, You will bring me up.

mkjv@Psalms:71:21 @ You will increase my greatness and surround [and] comfort me on every side.

mkjv@Psalms:71:22 @ I will also praise You with a harp. O my God, I will sing Your truth; to You I will sing with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.

mkjv@Psalms:71:23 @ My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You, and my soul, which You have redeemed.

mkjv@Psalms:71:24 @ My tongue also shall muse on Your righteousness all the day long; for those who seek my evil have turned pale, they are brought to shame.

mkjv@Psalms:72:1 @ A Psalm of Solomon. Give the King Your judgments, O God, and Your righteousness to the King's son.

mkjv@Psalms:72:2 @ He will judge Your people in righteousness, and Your poor with judgment.

mkjv@Psalms:72:3 @ The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills by righteousness.

mkjv@Psalms:72:4 @ He shall judge the poor of the people; He shall save the children of the needy, and shall crush in pieces the cruel one.

mkjv@Psalms:72:5 @ They shall fear You [as long as] the sun and moon [endure], throughout all generations.

mkjv@Psalms:72:6 @ He shall come down like rain on the mown grass, like showers [that] water the earth.

mkjv@Psalms:72:7 @ In His days the righteous shall flourish; and abundance of peace, until the moon [is] not.

mkjv@Psalms:72:8 @ He shall also have the rule from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

mkjv@Psalms:72:9 @ Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before Him; and His enemies shall lick the dust.

mkjv@Psalms:72:10 @ The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

mkjv@Psalms:72:11 @ Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; all nations shall serve Him.

mkjv@Psalms:72:12 @ For He shall deliver the needy when he cries; and the poor [with] no helper.

mkjv@Psalms:72:13 @ He shall have pity on the poor and needy and shall save the souls of the needy.

mkjv@Psalms:72:14 @ He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence; and their blood shall be precious in His sight.

mkjv@Psalms:72:15 @ And He shall live, and to Him shall be given the gold of Sheba; and prayer shall always be made for Him; He shall bless Him all the day long.

mkjv@Psalms:72:16 @ There shall be a fullness of grain in the earth on the top of the mountains; its fruit shall shake like Lebanon, and [they] of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

mkjv@Psalms:72:17 @ His name shall endure forever; His name shall be continued as long as the sun; and [men] shall be blessed in Him; all nations shall call Him blessed.

mkjv@Psalms:72:18 @ Blessed [is] the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does wonderful things.

mkjv@Psalms:72:19 @ And blessed [be] His glorious name forever; and all the earth is filled [with] His glory! Amen and Amen.
