kjv@Mark:4:21-25

kjv@Mark:4:21 @ And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?

kjv@Mark:4:22 @ For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

kjv@Mark:4:23 @ If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

kjv@Mark:4:24 @ And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

kjv@Mark:4:25 @ For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

Today's notes:

Context:

Key Concepts:

slide:kjv@manifest

What is God's righteousness observed doing?:

What does this tell us about God's righteousness?:

How is man reacting?:

Notes:

For men to know the secret mysteries of the kingdom the secrets of men must also be exposed. Each man has his secrets. That is not to say that we as believers tell every man what they are hiding, it is to reflect forth God's light allowing them to see themselves in God's all knowing light.

Key Messages:

What does this say about our present condition?
  1. For as much as we want to know everything about God we do not want to know about ourselves and each other in similar measure. Therefore we resist knowing anything more about God so as not to open the flood gates. Better we suppose not to see the secrets of man than to see the secrets of God.
  2. This is a good portion of that seed sown that many are offended by and simply wither or are persecuted for and grow timid.
