Notes:

Note that the Holy Ghost is behind everything here. HE is behind the prophets of old being quoted who spoke what HE had revealed. He is filling John from within the womb. HIS power has brought Mary to conceive without male seed. HE has come upon Zacharias and Elizabeth to prophecy. All this made known just in the first chapter. There is too much here that could not be known by the human participants, was completely out of their control, was utterly impossible for them to manufacture. HE does not leave off when Jesus arrives either, HIS role is continuous and Jesus gives HIM all credit and obedience.
