It was decided to mark these as What the disciple is doing as God more likely does not chasten without appropriate reason and ample warning with eye on their correction and because the Old Testament context never shows that the people were without turning back from HIS way; rather seeming a perpetual struggle. The only time I can recall a similar notion was with the righteous Job being given over for the proving against the Accuser (Israel is never described in a similar just righteousness that I know of) and then Job was restored several fold.
