I find it interesting that so soon after our discussion of Adam and Creation uncertainties we begin our discussion of the certainties of temptation. It can be observed that all men are tempted and that all men fall to temptation repeatedly. Even in our limited understanding we recognize that knowing what is right to do is often opposite of what we end up doing for no better reason than temptation made it so easy for us to do. At what point did the strength to rise above temptation surrender to the strength to yield and then to falsely justify it? Perhaps we never had it. Perhaps we only had it for a short time. Can we at least figuratively agree to call that point Adam?

The common view is that of evil and good side by side working eternally together; that you can't have one without the other. Call it Ying and Yang or call it God and the Devil, the notions are inseparable. The Christian view however is that Jesus came to destroy the works of Satan, to buy us back for the power of death he know holds. Eternity is the place that good will forever more prevail. Today's Earth is a quarantine. Time is a set limit to how long it will take to harvest as many un-breakable good strong sanctified souls as is possible. There is no point, perhaps no desire, to transfer an un-sanctified soul back into the everlasting good if it is going to go back to it's same vomit anyway. The two world views do as much to explain a person's personal rationale and justifications as it does anything about the physical entities of good and evil.

The point made in the observation of universal temptation is that it leads to universal sin. The point to spiritual truth is that it has been judged. The point to salvation is that it can only be provided from outside our sphere and only on righteousness's narrow terms; not by us on our own terms.
