God in no way tempts man kjv@James:1:13. That is not to say man is protected from temptation, rather that he is given strength by God to resist it if he so chooses to use God's given strength. Divine Jesus has now baptized Himself as a man and as so must like man depend upon the Father's given strength which He exercises flawlessly. Three of Satan's temptations deliberately were designed to get Jesus out of the strength given all men to exercise and back into His own divine strength which no man can obtain.

Key Messages:

What does this say about our present condition?

The absence of HIS righteousness in our present state necessitates the actions HE is undertaking to restore HIS righteousness in our future state. It is not only an effort to disprove ours, but to prove HIS and to teach us to begin moving forward solidly in HIS.
The common tendency is to look for HIS righteousness in multiple examples. There are no righteous examples as far as God is concerned except for one. How do we know? It is the only example God has identified from long established sources and by direct confirmation.
It is evil's nature to test and tempt; it does so always; it is doing so now in questioning this passage of divine confirmation. It should be of no surprise that every man has been tempted. It should be of no surprise that every man has abruptly failed. They are failing at this right now.
