1Timothy 2

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:1 @ Therefore I urge, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:2 @ For kings, and for all who are in authority; that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and reverence.

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:3 @ For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:4 @ Who desires all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:5 @ For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:6 @ Who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time.

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:7 @ And for this I have been appointed a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ and am not lying;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:8 @ Therefore, I want men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger or dissension.

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:9 @ In like manner also, let women adorn themselves in proper apparel, modestly and soberly; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly attire;

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:10 @ But with good works, as becomes women professing godliness.

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:11 @ Let a woman learn in quietness and full submission.

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:12 @ I do not allow a woman to teach, or to have authority over a man; she must keep silent.

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:13 @ For Adam was first formed, then Eve;

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:14 @ And Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:15 @ Yet women shall be kept safe through childbirth, if they continue in faith and love and holiness with propriety.

rkjnt@1Timothy:2:1 @ Therefore I urge, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
