Luke 6

lont@Luke:6:1 @ On the Sabbath called second prime, as Jesus was passing through the cornfields, his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and rubbed them in their hands and eat them.

lont@Luke:6:2 @ And some Pharisees said to them, Why do you that which it is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?

lont@Luke:6:3 @ Jesus replying, said to them,

lont@Luke:6:5 @ He added,

lont@Luke:6:6 @ It happened also on another Sabbath, that he went into the synagogue and taught; and a man was there whose right hand was blasted.

lont@Luke:6:7 @ Now the Scribes and the Pharisees watched, to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath, that they might find matter for accusing him.

lont@Luke:6:8 @ But he, knowing their thoughts, said to the man, whose hand was blasted, And he arose and stood.

lont@Luke:6:9 @ Then Jesus said to them,

lont@Luke:6:10 @ And, looking around on them all, he said to the man, and in doing this, his hand was rendered sound like the other.

lont@Luke:6:11 @ But they were filled with madness, and consulted together, what they should do to Jesus.

lont@Luke:6:12 @ In those days, Jesus retired to a mountain to pray, and spent the whole night in an oratory.

lont@Luke:6:13 @ When it was day, he called to him his disciples; and of them he chose twelve, whom he named Apostles.

lont@Luke:6:14 @ Simon, whom he also named Peter, and Andrew, his brother, James, and John, Philip, and Bartholomew;

lont@Luke:6:15 @ Matthew, and Thomas, James, son of Alpheus, and Simon called the Zealous,

lont@Luke:6:16 @ Judas, brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, who proved a traitor.

lont@Luke:6:17 @ Afterward, Jesus, coming down with them, stopped on a plain, where a company of his disciples, with a vast multitude from all parts of Judea, Jerusalem, and the maritime country of Tyre and Sidon,

lont@Luke:6:18 @ were come to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases. Those also who were infested with unclean spirits, came, and were cured.

lont@Luke:6:19 @ And every one strove to touch him, because a virtue came from him, which healed them all.

lont@Luke:6:20 @ Then fixing his eyes on his disciples, he said,
