Psalms 26




geneva@Psalms:26:1 @ «[A Psalm] of David.» Judge me, (note:)He flees to God to be the judge of his just cause, seeing there is no equity among men.(:note) O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; [therefore] I shall not slide.

geneva@Psalms:26:3 @ For thy (note:)He shows what stayed him, that he did not recompense evil for evil.(:note) lovingkindness [is] before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

geneva@Psalms:26:4 @ I have not (note:)He declares that they cannot walk in simplicity before God, that delight in the company of the ungodly.(:note) sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

geneva@Psalms:26:6 @ I will (note:)I will serve you with a pure affection, and with the godly that sacrifice to you.(:note) wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

geneva@Psalms:26:8 @ O Lorde, I haue loued the habitation of thine house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

geneva@Psalms:26:10 @ In whose hands [is] (note:)Whose cruel hands execute the malicious devises of their hearts.(:note) mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

geneva@Psalms:26:11 @ But I will walke in mine innocencie: redeeme me therefore, and be mercifull vnto me.

geneva@Psalms:26:12 @ My foot standeth in (note:)I am preserved from my enemies by the power of God, and therefore will praise him openly.(:note) an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.
