updv@Psalms:38:1 @ A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O Yahweh, don't rebuke me in your wrath; Neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.

updv@Psalms:38:2 @ For your arrows pierce into me, And your hand presses me intensely.

updv@Psalms:38:3 @ There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation; Neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin.

updv@Psalms:38:4 @ For my iniquities have gone over my head: As a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

updv@Psalms:38:5 @ My wounds are loathsome and corrupt, Because of my foolishness.

updv@Psalms:38:6 @ I am pained and bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.

updv@Psalms:38:7 @ For my loins are filled with burning; And there is no soundness in my flesh.

updv@Psalms:38:8 @ I am faint and very bruised: I have groaned by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

updv@Psalms:38:9 @ Lord, all my desire is before you; And my groaning is not hid from you.

updv@Psalms:38:10 @ My heart throbs, my strength fails me: As for the light of my eyes, it also has gone from me.

updv@Psalms:38:11 @ My friends and my companions stand aloof from my plague; And my kinsmen stand far off.

updv@Psalms:38:12 @ Those also that seek after my life lay snares [for me]; And those who seek my hurt speak mischievous things, And meditate deceits all the day long.

updv@Psalms:38:13 @ But I, as a deaf man, don't hear; And I am as a mute man who does not open his mouth.

updv@Psalms:38:14 @ Yes, I am as a man who does not hear, And in whose mouth are no reproofs.

updv@Psalms:38:15 @ For in you, O Yahweh, I hope: You will answer, O Lord my God.

updv@Psalms:38:16 @ For I said, Or else they will rejoice over me: When my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.

updv@Psalms:38:17 @ For I am ready to fall, And my sorrow is continually before me.

updv@Psalms:38:18 @ For I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

updv@Psalms:38:19 @ But my enemies are lively, [and] are strong; And those who hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

updv@Psalms:38:20 @ They also that render evil for good Are adversaries to me, because I follow the thing that is good.

updv@Psalms:38:21 @ Don't forsake me, O Yahweh: O my God, don't be far from me.

updv@Psalms:38:22 @ Hurry to help me, O Lord, my salvation.
