Psalms 4

vw@Psalms:4:1 @ Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have enlarged me in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

vw@Psalms:4:2 @ O you sons of men, how long will you turn My glory into shame? Will you love vanity and seek after falsehood? Selah.

vw@Psalms:4:3 @ But know that Jehovah has set apart the godly for Himself. Jehovah hears when I call unto Him.

vw@Psalms:4:4 @ Tremble, and sin not; commune within your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

vw@Psalms:4:5 @ Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and trust in Jehovah.

vw@Psalms:4:6 @ There are many who say, Who will show us any good? Jehovah, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.

vw@Psalms:4:7 @ You have put gladness in my heart, more than during the time when their grain and their wine increased.

vw@Psalms:4:8 @ I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, Jehovah, make me dwell in safety.
