Psalms 53

vw@Psalms:53:1 @ The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity; there is no one who does good.

vw@Psalms:53:2 @ God looked down from Heaven upon the children of mankind to see if any was circumspect, seeking God.

vw@Psalms:53:3 @ Every one of them has turned back; they have all together become corrupt; not one is doing good, no, not even one.

vw@Psalms:53:4 @ Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? They eat up my people as they eat bread; they have not called upon God.

vw@Psalms:53:5 @ There they fear with dread, where there was no dread, for God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you; you have put them to shame because God has rejected them.

vw@Psalms:53:6 @ Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
