vw@Psalms:71:1 @ In You, O Jehovah, I put my trust; let me never be put to shame.

vw@Psalms:71:2 @ Rescue me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; extend Your ear to me, and save me.

vw@Psalms:71:3 @ Be a rock of refuge for me, to which I may continually go; You have given command to save me, for You are my Rock and my Fortress.

vw@Psalms:71:4 @ Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

vw@Psalms:71:5 @ For You are my hope, O Lord Jehovah, my trust from my youth.

vw@Psalms:71:6 @ Upon You I have been supported from the womb; You are He who took me out of my mothers belly; my praise shall continually be of You.

vw@Psalms:71:7 @ I am like a wonder to many, but You are my strong refuge.

vw@Psalms:71:8 @ Let my mouth be filled with Your praise, with Your glory all the day.

vw@Psalms:71:9 @ Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.

vw@Psalms:71:10 @ For my enemies speak against me; and those who lie in wait for my soul take counsel together,

vw@Psalms:71:11 @ saying, God has forsaken him; pursue and take him, for there is no one to rescue him.

vw@Psalms:71:12 @ O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste to help me!

vw@Psalms:71:13 @ Let them be ashamed; let those who are enemies of my soul be consumed; let them be covered with reproach and dishonor, who seek my hurt.

vw@Psalms:71:14 @ But I will hope continually, and I have praised You again and again.

vw@Psalms:71:15 @ My mouth shall recount Your righteousness and Your salvation all the day; for I do not know their number.

vw@Psalms:71:16 @ I will go in the strength of the Lord Jehovah; I will keep in remembrance Your righteousness; Yours alone.

vw@Psalms:71:17 @ O God, You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I have declared Your marvelous works.

vw@Psalms:71:18 @ And now when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not leave me, until I have declared Your strength to this generation, and Your power to everyone who is to come.

vw@Psalms:71:19 @ Your righteousness also, O God, is very high, You who have done great things. O God, who is like You,

vw@Psalms:71:20 @ who has shown me great and evil distresses. You will revive me again, and bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

vw@Psalms:71:21 @ You will increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

vw@Psalms:71:22 @ I will also give thanks unto You with the lute, O my God, for Your faithfulness. To You I will make music with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.

vw@Psalms:71:23 @ My lips shall greatly rejoice when I make music unto You, and my soul, which You have redeemed.

vw@Psalms:71:24 @ My tongue also shall meditate on Your righteousness all day long; for those who seek evil upon me are abashed; they are brought to shame.
