1Corinthians:13

*
If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels ,
but don '
t have love ,
I have become sounding bronze ,
or a clanging cymbal .
*
And if I have [
the gift of ]
prophecy ,
and know all mysteries and all knowledge ;
and if I have all faith ,
so as to remove mountains ,
but do not have love ,
I am nothing .
*
And if I bestow all my goods to feed [
the poor ],
and if I deliver up my body that I may boast ,
but do not have love ,
it profits me nothing .
*
Love suffers long ,
it is kind .
Love does not envy .
Love does not vaunt itself ,
is not puffed up ,
*
does not behave itself unseemly ,
does not seek its own ,
is not provoked ,
does not take account of evil ;
*
does not rejoice in unrighteousness ,
but rejoices with the truth ;
*
bears all things ,
believes all things ,
hopes all things ,
endures all things .
*
Love never fails :
but if [
there are ]
prophecies ,
they will be done away ;
if [
there are ]
tongues ,
they will cease ;
if [
there is ]
knowledge ,
it will be done away .
*
For we know in part ,
and we prophesy in part ;
*
but when that which is perfect has come ,
that which is in part will be done away .
*
When I was a juvenile ,
I spoke as a juvenile ,
I felt as a juvenile ,
I thought as a juvenile :
now that I have become a man ,
I have put away juvenile things .
*
For now we see in a mirror ,
darkly ;
but then face to face :
now I know in part ;
but then I will know fully even as also I was fully known .
*
But now these three stay :
faith ,
hope ,
and love ;
and the greatest of these is love .
