How is it (
5748 )
then ,
brethren ?
when ye come together (
5741 ),
every one of you hath (
5719 )
a psalm ,
hath (
5719 )
a doctrine ,
hath (
5719 )
a tongue ,
hath (
5719 )
a revelation ,
hath (
5719 )
an interpretation .
Let all things be done (
5634 )
unto edifying .
*
If any man speak (
5719 )
in an unknown tongue ,
let it be by two ,
or at the most by three ,
and that by course ;
and let one interpret (
5720 ).
*
But if there be (
5753 )
no interpreter ,
let him keep silence (
5720 )
in the church ;
and let him speak (
5720 )
to himself ,
and to God .
*
Let the prophets speak (
5720 )
two or three ,
and let the other judge (
5720 ).
*
If any thing be revealed (
5686 )
to another that sitteth by (
5740 ),
let the first hold his peace (
5720 ).
*
For ye may (
5736 )
all prophesy (
5721 )
one by one ,
that all may learn (
5725 ),
and all may be comforted (
5747 ).
*
And the spirits of the prophets are subject (
5743 )
to the prophets .
*
For God is (
5748 )
not the author of confusion ,
but of peace ,
as in all churches of the saints .
