* Now , brethren , if I come (5632 ) unto you speaking (5723 ) with tongues , what shall I profit (5692 ) you , except I shall speak (5661 ) to you either by revelation , or by knowledge , or by prophesying , or by doctrine ? * And even things without life giving (5723 ) sound , whether pipe or harp , except they give (5632 ) a distinction in the sounds , how shall it be known (5701 ) what is piped (5746 ) or harped (5746 )? * For if the trumpet give (5632 ) an uncertain sound , who shall prepare himself (5695 ) to the battle ? * So likewise ye , except ye utter (5632 ) by the tongue words easy to be understood , how shall it be known (5701 ) what is spoken (5746 )? for ye shall (5704 ) speak (5723 ) into the air .
