* So when this corruptible shall have put on (5672 ) incorruption , and this mortal shall have put on (5672 ) immortality , then shall be brought to pass (5695 ) the saying that is written (5772 ), Death is swallowed up (5681 ) in victory . * O death , where is thy sting ? O grave , where is thy victory ? * The sting of death is sin ; and the strength of sin is the law . * But thanks be to God , which giveth (5723 ) us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ . * Therefore , my beloved brethren , be ye (5737 ) stedfast , unmoveable , always abounding (5723 ) in the work of the Lord , forasmuch as ye know (5761 ) that your labour is (5748 ) not in vain in the Lord .
