* I have not written (5656 ) unto you because ye know (5758 ) not the truth , but because ye know (5758 ) it , and that no lie is (5748 ) of the truth . * Who is (5748 ) a liar but he that denieth (5740 ) that Jesus is (5748 ) the Christ ? He is (5748 ) antichrist , that denieth (5740 ) the Father and the Son . * Whosoever denieth (5740 ) the Son , the same hath (5719 ) not the Father : (but ) he that acknowledgeth (5723 ) the Son hath (5719 ) the Father also . * Let that therefore abide (5720 ) in you , which ye have heard (5656 ) from the beginning . If that which ye have heard (5656 ) from the beginning shall remain (5661 ) in you , ye also shall continue (5692 ) in the Son , and in the Father . * And this is (5748 ) the promise that he hath promised (5662 ) us , even eternal life . * These things have I written (5656 ) unto you concerning them that seduce (5723 ) you . * But the anointing which ye have received (5627 ) of him abideth (5719 ) in you , and ye need (5719 ) not that any man teach (5725 ) you : but as the same anointing teacheth (5719 ) you of all things , and is (5748 ) truth , and is (5748 ) no lie , and even as it hath taught (5656 ) you , ye shall abide (5692 ) in him .
