emtv@1Peter:1:13 @ Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, stay sober, put your hope fully in the grace brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

emtv@1Peter:1:14 @ as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves [after] the former lusts, [as you did in ]your ignorance;

emtv@1Peter:1:15 @ but as He[ ]who called you is holy, you also be holy in all manner of life,

emtv@1Peter:1:16 @ because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."

emtv@1Peter:1:17 @ And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, pass the time of your sojourning [here] in fear;

emtv@1Peter:1:18 @ knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your futile way of life handed down from your forefathers,

emtv@1Peter:1:19 @ but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb blameless and spotless,

emtv@1Peter:1:20 @ having been foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, He was made manifest in these last times for you,

emtv@1Peter:1:21 @ who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

emtv@1Peter:1:22 @ Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere love for the brothers, love one another fervently from a pure heart,

emtv@1Peter:1:23 @ having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

emtv@1Peter:1:24 @ For "All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man is as the flower of [the] grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away,

emtv@1Peter:1:25 @ but the word of the LORD endures forever."Now this is the word which was proclaimed to you.

emtv@1Peter:2:1 @ Therefore having put away all malice, all guile, hypocrisy, envy, and all slanders,

emtv@1Peter:2:2 @ as newborn babes, desire the genuine milk of the word, that by it you may grow,
