* wherein ye greatly rejoice , though now for a short time , if need be , made sorrowful by manifold trials , * that the proof of your faith , much more precious than gold which perisheth , but is tried with fire , may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the manifestation of Jesus Christ ; * whom , having not seen , ye love ; in whom , though now ye see him not , yet believing , ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory , * receiving the end of your faith , the salvation of your souls .
